With the threat of war constantly on the horizon, knights had to keep themselves in tip-top shape and order even if they didn't know when they were going to use these skills.
However, outside of war, formations made for interesting spectacles. Even with five knights, Henry could make them move in impressive formations that showed their chemistry on the battlefield and gained the trust of anyone observing.
Handing the knights shields and calling out formations caught the attention of, not only the earl, but advisors and other guests who had started to slowly arrive. Despite the outdoors being brisk from up in the walkways, it didn't keep people from coming forth and observing.
