Henry did find sitting by such a large fire too hot plus the words shared between the young nobles made him feel particularly on edge.
As he walked through the castle, in search of a door that would allow him to get outside and feel the crisp winter air for just a moment, he found himself on the walkway that overlooked the practice grounds.
To his surprise, there was a boy who couldn't have been more than 13 years old beating up a hay practice dummy with a wooden sword. His movements were messy and he didn't have the best control. Henry knew instantly he was going to exhaust himself like that.
The knight went along the edge of the practice field until he found stairs where he could walk lower. Yet they weren't to ground level and the knight opted to jump over the wall and land on the neatly manicured knight's yard with a surprisingly quiet thud.
