Ranch was far from convinced by such a ludicrous suggestion and was aware that this place did not exist in reality but was constructed by Daisy using her mind power, possibly a form of special magic.
After taking a moment to look around, Ranch asked again, "Daisy, what exactly is your purpose?"
Daisy did not address his question, showing no concern for the dissatisfaction on Ranch's face, and instead threatened, "Ranch, even though the contract makes us allies, do you really think I'm incapable of harming you? Just imagine what would happen if your consciousness were to remain here indefinitely."
The threat had its intended effect, changing Ranch's expression.
He looked at Daisy, who had approached him.
Her delicate face showed no emotion, and she spoke with unnerving calmness, her enticing red lips the only movement.
Ranch began to recall the events since he met Daisy.
