The women nodded in agreement and huddled close to Henry, ready to head towards the exit of the Kingdom Treasury, when suddenly, they found themselves encircled by a group of managers.
Henry furrowed his brows, about to speak, but the managers preempted him, hastily saying, "Please, do not misunderstand; we bear no ill will towards you."
The recent intervention by the Intelligence Authority had completely subdued these managers, all of whom were creations of the Intelligence Authority itself.
To them, encountering the Intelligence Authority was akin to meeting the Lord of Mechanoids.
Given the Intelligence Authority's apparent selection of Henry, these managers were now unconditionally inclined to follow his lead.
"We wish to convey the Kingdom Treasury managers' apologies to you," said one of the managers, the one previously identified as the sword manager, as he handed a list to Henry.
Taking the list, Henry began to review its contents.
