Chapter 35

Thor entered Loki's personal chamber in Asgard It was filled with tomes and grimoires,Thor saw at the side was statue.

It was not a statue, not yet. At the moment, it was nothing more than a vaguely man-shaped hunk of clay towering fifteen to twenty feet.

The light cast shifting streams of white on its brown, lumpy shape. The thing was chunky, its limbs thick as tree trunks, with a featureless blob stuck on its enormous body. It was held up by scaffolding, against which was propped was Loki staff.

Perched atop a ladder was its sculptor Loki with sweat and clay decorated his bare torso as he worked, using tools as well as his hands to mold the earthen figure before him. His back was toward the newcomers, and muscles clenched and unclenched as he continued to work. Without turning around,he asked, "So what do you want brother?" His voice was clear and strong, the question seemingly idle, but there was a slight warning timbre to it.

Thor smiled answered"Mother has found a pupil for you." and questioned"What are making?"

Now Loki turned around and answered "Making a golem, actually,"as he eyed his creation for a moment, then, using a strand of wire between two wooden handles, shaved off a curl of clay on the thing's shoulder.

Thor nodded understanding what it was as Loki asked"And who is this pupil mother wants me to mentor?"

Thor smiled and replied"Ivar son of Ragnar and he was just born few hours ago."

Loki hummed and questioned"What made this child so special?"

Thor answered"Mother saw a glimpse of his and felt the boy had potential that will be wasted and wants you to prepare him.I will say this the boy probably will be really sharp and cunning."

Loki was thoughtful and asked "What else?"

Thor shrugged told him everything regarding the boys birth and his legs being healed as he added"If taught right the boy would be someone greater than Ragnar or any of his children."

Loki smirked and replied"I want to see the look on Aslaug's face when she realizes the fact the son she ignored will be greater than anything she seen in her visions."

Thor didn't show it,but he agree with Loki and was sure Aslaug will come to regret her decisions and that would be a very huge weight on her heart.

While this was happening Judith met with Lagertha and before Judith was about to speak,Lagertha cut in"I know what you come you talk about.....it's about Thor isn't it?"

Judith was nervous,but steeled herself and nodded then saying"I fell in love with him the moment I saw him and my feelings grew more with the more I know him."

Lagertha knew this,but wasn't sure how to deal with this and she was heard from Frigga gods sometimes take multiple wives,Frigga herself spoke about how Hela was daughter of Odin's first wife.Also she knew Jarls and King's took lovers and multiple partners from time to time.

Lagertha sighed and replied"Yes,we will talk about this with Frigga.I knew this was coming sooner or later."

Judith nodded and was hopeful that everything would work out,while Lagertha's shield maidens

Þorunn and Astrid were slightly suprised with the sudden turn of events,while both of them were slightly envious of Judith because if this really worked out she was going to be wife of Thor and become a Asgardian.

[A/N:I know someone will start commenting about how Lagertha won't agree with multiple partners because she didn't in the canon,but in the original timeline Lagertha was unable to provide Ragnar with sons he was obsessed with and Aslaug entry into their life by giving Ragnar children caused her to become insecure and Aslaug made sure to make her feel that by showing off her heritage and stuff.In this timeline Lagertha is much more confident and her issues with children is solved,so she is much understanding of the situation.]
