In the end, Danzo accepted Root's dissolution with a cold face. When he walked out of the office, he gave Minato and Nagasawa a cold look.

Nagasawa looked at Danzo's helpless and furious figure and had trouble holding himself from laughing.

However, he seemed to feel Danzo's cold gaze on him.

After the meeting, Nagasawa also left quickly and walked out of the Hokage Building in a pleasant mood.

The Root Shinobi had been severely brainwashed and had been subjected to Cursed Seals. Even if Root was dissolved on the surface, there would definitely be a large number of Root Shinobi secretly following Danzo.

In the manga, after Uchiha Clan was exterminated, Root was also disbanded once. However, Danzo obtained the support of the two councils and quickly rebuilt Root. It could be seen that Danzo had firm control over Root Shinobi.

However, there were still many benefits to disbanding Root.

Minato could tolerate that the Third Hokage had more Anbu than him because he was the Third Hokage, and the Third Hokage's Anbu was also the legitimate Anbu.

After leaving the Hokage building, Nagasawa walked towards Anbu Base.

He was actually a Commander now. Minato had announced it in public, but the appointment letter had not been issued yet, so he needed to go through a certain process.

Currently, there were only two squads among the Fourth Hokage's Anbu. To be precise, it was two and a half.

Normally, a Division consisted of a Commander with four Anbu squads, adding up to seventeen Shinobi.

Although Ensui also wanted to contest for this position, he didn't do anything worth mentioning in the last mission. Only Kakashi scored some credit, and the rest were all finished by Nagasawa.

Kakashi looked calm.

Based on the performance of the last mission, the new Squad Leader had to be him.

"Based on the performance of the last mission, I hereby appoint Kakashi as Anbu Squad 7's Squad Leader in the future." Nagasawa ignored Midori Inuzuka and looked at Kakashi.

"Kakashi, although you are the youngest, your ability is the strongest among the three. Do you have the confidence to take Squad Leader's position?"

"I will never let you down," Kakashi said determinedly.

After setting Squad 7's training menu, Nagasawa went to Squad 6, 8, 9, and 10 that he was in charge of, and assigned them daily tasks.

Anbu's task was handed to the Anbu Commander by the Hokage himself, and the Commander assigned the missions to each Squad, so now, aside from Squad 7, he had to assign other Squads' missions as well.
