"You promised, no backing out now," Collins Aiden halted in his steps, turned around, and looked at her intently.
In his eyes, a trace of bewilderment shone through.
It was as if he couldn't understand why she was reluctant again.
"I'm not backing out, it's just that today's weather isn't good. Look, the sky is full of dark clouds and it's so cold, it feels like it's going to snow soon. Why don't we wait until the weather improves before we go?"
Ella Jackson looked up at the sky and blurted out an excuse to hide the nervousness in her heart.
Hearing this, Collins narrowed his eyes, tightened his grip on her hand, and continued to lead her outside, clearly not giving her a chance to retreat.
"No, Collins Aiden, I have other reasons!" Ella saw that she was about to be pushed into the car and quickly put her hand on the car door, letting out a low growl.
