"Boom boom boom!!!"
In the midst of this thrilling spectacle, bursts of intense light erupted, casting a world bathed in golden and crimson hues.
The two distinct beams of light interwoven and exploded, causing their eyes to tear up before they could react once more—
"Huh...boom!!
The forceful impact echoed like thunder in the open space, and everyone felt the ground beneath their feet shake profoundly. Some even struggled to maintain their balance.
Alongside the thunderous sound, the violent shockwave resembled the tidal surge on the coast. The tumultuous air, carrying countless particles of dust and soil, engulfed them in an instant.
Chunks of mud rushed past, falling on them sporadically.
Many were immediately stunned, obediently closing their eyes, afraid to defy the force against their bodies.
Several Uchiha elders, though tearful, kept their eyes open. They held back their pallid faces, fixedly observing the two figures in the field.
Only then did they discern that the two stood there motionless, frozen in place.
The ground beneath them had shattered, and myriad clumps of mud were repeatedly plowed over.
The once solid ground resembled crumbled tofu, trampled by countless explosive elephants and plowed away by thousands of black cows.
Pebbles on the ground had turned to dust, carried away by a gentle breeze, disappearing into thin air.
In the center of the devastation, the ground had collapsed, creating a depression akin to a submerged riverbed. The two figures stood at its deepest point.
As they gradually distanced themselves, the ground ascended until it returned to normal when it reached the elders.
In this moment, the two locked eyes, sharing a complete understanding of each other's strength.
Kazuhiko comprehended Ryūshō fully, just as Ryūshō believed he had a grasp of Kazuhiko's capabilities.
Ryūshō felt pain in his left fist, rejoicing in the sensation because it meant he could finally feel his left arm. In the prior onslaught, he had lost all sensation in his left arm, momentarily thinking he sustained a severe injury.
Unexpectedly, he could still feel the pain, indicating only a minor injury.
The two leaped and distanced themselves. Both Kazuhiko and Ryūshō knew this step was sufficient.
Examining the alterations in the surrounding landscape, the Uchiha clansmen were keenly aware of their newfound strength.
Despite this, Kazuhiko retained a belligerent gleam in his eyes. After all, it was the Uchiha clan leader who initiated the attack.
Primarily on the defensive, he had not yet unveiled many of his techniques. His combat spirit blazed, and his gaze fixated on Ryūshō.
Ryūshō reciprocated with a smile, detecting the battle readiness in Kazuhiko's eyes. Simultaneously, he harbored a technique to test his adversary's prowess.
As more clansmen gathered around, Ryūshō turned to face Kazuhiko. His scarlet Mangekyō, resembling a sickle, observed every move of Kazuhiko.
"I still possess an unrevealed technique... How about it? Do you wish to experience my final attack?" Ryūshō inquired, sporting a martial expression. It had been years since he engaged in combat of this intensity.
Especially post Mangekyō's awakening, he had spent an extended period in peaceful Konoha. Even in battle, he seldom needed to employ his eyes to their full extent.
Given this opportunity, he was determined not to let it slip away easily. He sensed a more potent ability within his eyes and yearned to put it to the test.
"Alright!"
Kazuhiko readily agreed.
Casting a glance around, he suggested, "Let's change the location!"
"Agreed!"
"Swoosh, swoosh."
Following their exchange, they promptly departed from the current site. One manipulated Mangekyō, the other accelerated without restraint, while the remaining Uchiha clansmen continued their rapid advance without any reaction.
Many were still engulfed in smoke and dust, hunched over and coughing.
A few elders, equipped with Sharingan, took notice.
"Proceed!"
Understanding that a contest was inevitable and the Clan Head preferred secrecy, several individuals wordlessly infiltrated the thick smoke and dust, swiftly disappearing.
Observing the lingering dust-filled sky, Uchiha Fugaku and Kurogane found themselves standing side by side.
They were astounded by the maneuvers displayed by Kazuhiko and Ryūshō moments ago.
Staring at the enduring dust, they leaped onto a nearby large tree.
Observing the vacant battlefield center, they wondered, "Has the battle concluded?"
"How did it unfold?"
Finally, at that moment, several clansmen who had just arrived approached. Upon arrival, they only witnessed the swirling dust in the sky.
Unable to discern the events at the battle center, they anxiously scratched their heads.
Several people remained silent and formed a seal.
"Wind Style · Breakthrough!"
"Wind Style · Breakthrough!"
In an instant, a hurricane erupted from the mouths of the two, directly countering the dusty wind.
Finally, the airborne dust was blown away.
However, as everyone observed, they were left in astonishment. A massive, deep pit lay before them. It seemed as if the split land had been laid bare, the entire terrain transformed by the onslaught of the two.
It looked like if it rained here in the future, it might turn into a reservoir.
However, their attention quickly shifted to something else.
"Where are the people? Where are the elders?"
"Why can't we see them?"
"I just arrived, what happened..."
"Look at this land. With such a fierce battle, could it be that the elders and the Uzumaki Clan Head have...'
"Impossible! I saw someone in the battle center before!"
Discussions ensued, and soon, someone noticed.
"The elder is missing too..."
"The second elder as well!
"The fourth and fifth elders are gone!
Finally, a realization struck them.
"Damn it! They must have left!"
"Why would they leave?"
"There must be more thrilling battles elsewhere... They changed locations again."
"Right! Otherwise, the elders wouldn't have vanished."
"My goodness, I just arrived, why did they change the venue again..."
"Did anyone see which way they went?"
Despite the conversations, nobody had seen the few individuals who departed. Everyone had followed discreetly, understanding that the Clan Head did not want too many to witness their combat abilities.
Kazuhiko and Ryūshō hadn't traveled very far. The quarry was only a few dozen miles away, distances insignificant to them.
As they galloped past, they soon found another open space, standing on their respective tall trees, realizing this was the final battleground.
Kazuhiko sought to avenge the pain of being suppressed by the Mangekyō earlier, lacking experience in facing it for the first time.
Ryūshō aimed to gauge the strength of his own technique—the scarlet scythe reappeared in his eyes.
His move, Susanoo!
