Her true identity

Calina Cee wasn't born poor, and she didn't grow up to become a mere assistant either. She had been born by very rich and affluent parents and had inherited all their properties when they died. She was the second richest to President Lucien Luther, but most people do not know her real face, they've only heard of her name. 

Her full name is Lycandra Calina Cee and those who have heard of her only knew her as Lycandra Cee. It was easier for her to disguise well with the name Calina, no one really knows that she bears the name, and also, only the people who worked closely with her knew her face. 

When her parents died and left her with that many properties and companies, Calina decided to start from the roots since she didn't know much about how the company operate. The perfect disguise was working as an assistant. She got the job, but landed with a really haughty lady who treated her like waste.

At first, she wasn't so used to it, she grew up as a well pampered child and had no experience of such things. But she got used to it after six months of working with Shirley. And things were going well because no one noticed her disguise.

Lycandra Calina Cee was the President of Glittering Jewels group, the second after Ly group in the country.

Morning.

Calina made hair into a bun and placed the neatly folded suit jacket inside a bag.

Shirley had decide to take the day off, so, it was a work free day for Calina. She heard her phone beep and glanced at it, the cab had already arrived. She carried the bag and her purse and hurried out of the house.

Ly group.

Calina had covered her face with a black mask, so she wouldn't be recognized by anyone who might know her. She was going to hand over the bag to President Luther by herself, since she had placed his suit jacket on her shoulder himself.

She walked into the company and went over to the reception office.

"I'm sorry, but you can't meet our boss. If you have any message, you can leave it here, it would surely get to him," a female receptionist replied to Calina politely after she had told her(the receptionist) what she came for.

"I have to meet him personally," Calina said.

"Our boss isn't just anybody, you should have made an appointment before hand," the receptionist said.

"Ok then, could you just call his office and tell him that a lady is here to see him please?" Calina asked.

"Fine. But, I have to let you know that at the end of the day, you will have to leave the bag to someone else," the receptionist said.

"Call his office first," Calina replied.

"But, you're wearing a mask, how can I give an accurate description of who's waiting?"

"Describe what you see," Calina replied in a casual tone.

Lucien was attending to some work when his assistant, Walter entered.

"President, a lady on the main floor has requested to see you. She is described to be putting on a mask and dressed in casual clothes, with hazel eyes and long black hair," Walter made the report accurately. 

Lucien immediately knew who it was. Hazel eyes and long black her was a good description of her. She's here! So quick? That was what came through Lucien's mind. The suit got stained the previous day and she was bringing it back already? She really was the way he had predicted. 

"Boss do you want me to tell her to leave her message?" Walter asked.

"Never mind, I'll go see her," Lucien said, stood up and wore his suit jacket.

Walter was surprised. The boss would never go down to see an ordinary girl with such description, unless she was someone the boss was expecting.

"I have made the call and the message would have gotten to the boss already," the receptionist said.

"Okay thanks. I'll wait for him here," Calina said and moved to a free spot by the receptionist desk.

"Wait for him? The President won't come down to see you," the receptionist said.

Calina smiled behind her mask. "Since you haven't received a message, he's on his way down already", she replied certainly.

"But..." the words couldn't be completed because the receptionist was surprised by what she had saw.

The..The president actually came down??

Calin was happy when she saw President Luther. She turned to the receptionist and gave her an 'I-told-you-so' kind if look. She walked to President Luther and bowed.

"I am so sorry to bother you this time. I know you must be busy with work, but, I'm here to return the suit," Calina said and wanted to hand over the bag to Lucien, but, Walter offered to accept it.

Lucien raised his hand telling Walter to stop and then said in his usual tone to Calina, "Follow me."

"Me? Why?" Calina asked immediately.

Walter was surprised by Calina's boldness. Most people just followed the President's order without questioning.

Lucien made no reply to Calina's question. He walked back inside the elevator with Walter and Calina following behind.

"President Luther, do I really need to go up before returning this suit jacket?" She asked inside the elevator but Lucien made no sign of hearing.

"Am I going to be punished for returning the jacket?" She asked and this almost mad Lucien laugh.

But he was really good at hiding emotions, so, it wasn't obvious he was listening to her.

Inside the elevator, Calina was thinking maybe she made the wrong choice by bring the suit jacket to him. Yes! What had she be thinking? By placing it on her shoulder that way, he must have meant that she should dispose it. 

The elevator stopped and the three came outside. Lucien walked into his office along with Walter while Calina only waited at the door.

"President Luther, I apologise if I made a mistake,but, please do not punish me now," she said.

"Come in."

She entered the office and was amazed by the look. The person who had done the interior a really great taste. It was designed with expensive furnitures and all had matching colors. It reminded her of her own office, but they still had the gap and difference between them.

"Put the bag on the desk," Lucien said.

"I won't," Calina said and Walter went pop- eyed. "You have to collect it from me, since you give it to me yourself," she said.

This girl was a really bold, Walter thought.

Lucien moved closer to Calina and she handed over the bag to him.

"Thanks for accepting it, can I leave no

w?"

"No," Lucien replied and Calina turned to stare at him.

"Why?" Calina asked.

"I have an offer."
