Bequest

"Hello Ms Morgan, How are you doing" Scott said starching his hand for hand shake Brenda's hand .

"my name is Scott wood. Am sure you heard about me." Scott added

"ya, you used to be Jonas's lawyer rights" Brenda said with mixed emotions on her face. Just thinking about his put her in a bad mood.

" That's right... Am sorry about your loss Ms Brenda. Mr Hamilton was a good person" said Scott with his head down. He was really sad about what happened to Jonas. he had known Jonas since he was a kid.

Brenda didn't say a word, but you can see that she's sorrowing over Jonas's death.

Scott was a very busy man so he didn't want to bit around the bush. he spend a lot of time searching for her.

"Ms Brenda am here today because Mr Hamilton left you a bequest" he started to pull out some documents from his briefcase.

Brenda was dumbfounded. she couldn't process what the man in front just said.

" WHAT! BEQUEST! " Brenda shouted. tears start welding down.

"So your saying, he's been planned everything. He's been planning to leave me " Brenda stared at the man without blinking.

Scott was a little startled with her sudden reaction. " Ms Morgan please calm down. we both know that's not true ".

The suicide was not intentional at all. when Jonas was just sophomore he started to use drug. when he entered college he also start drinking it was like a habit to him. she remembers when he was admitted for rehab a couple of times. He was getting better, she witness him getting better. she never once thought things would get complicated so fast.

" Ms Morgan he prepared all this things two years ago. he told me if anything happens to him, to give you this documents" Scott try to explain the matter carefully.

Brenda wipe her tears with the tissue Scott gave her. she calm herself down and starts going trough the documents in front of her. There were a lot of insurance agreements he got for her and it cost tones of money. All in all he left her about one hundred fifty million dollars. she couldn't believe her eyes. This man, he loved her so much. The look on Brenda's face start getting ugly. she wanted to live the best time with him. she even figured everything out for them ; from where they'll live, the city even how many kids they well have . Him leaving her was the most cruelest thing anyone can ever imagine.

Her life used to evolve only over him. She didn't really care about money. The only thing that satisfy her every desire was him. Now his gone and all the thing she's been building is all nullified. she need to start every thing from scratch.

she cried her eyes out.

Jonas well always be a big scar in her heart. He will always be there. He was her first love who showed her the world.

He teach her how to love and trust.

He teach how to be strong and confident. so she can walk with her head up high.

He was the love of her life.

Scott and Brenda talked in some matters for over a hour. He handed her all the documents he brings and leave the hospital.

After seeing Scott it was almost lunch time but she didn't have appetite so she skipped lunch go have some rest.
