"All girls in the universe are precious, even if they are slaves in your palace."
Everyone, especially the men, finally really acknowledged Lia's greatness, how good she was at public speaking, and how proud she was to be herself. She had evolved into a strong figure in many fields, she had learned a lot from her past, as well as learned a lesson from the white dragon and her parents.
The chiefs of the planet now really respect her, some of them have no longer covered up that intention.
More than half of the food had been eaten, replaced by delicious, low-calorie snacks that cure various ailments. A type of delicious food that has always been coveted by humans, but is very difficult to obtain.
Followed by entertainment in the form of dances by beautiful dancers, as well as various amazing modern circuses. The planetary leaders enjoyed the whole show, laying down their topics of conversation that revolved around planetary boundaries, problematic orbits, and star disputes. For now, they forgot all the troubles that were suffocating them.
Lia just got up from her seat, leaving behind a very wise queen from a planet. She learned a lot of lessons, both express and implied. Even though she had other intentions in this banquet, she should not be obvious.
"Where is he?" she whispered, glancing around the corner, looking at the hustle and bustle of luxury. A state dignitary waved at her, inviting her to listen to the latest joke. "Sorry sir, but I still have some business to do." Then she darted to the chair where her parents were sitting, tiptoeing only to look for Prince Aerus.
Queen Renoa nudged her husband's arm, then glanced at her daughter. Her lips said silently, "She is looking for Prince Aerus."
Chuckling, King Rexon looked up and tugged gently on his daughter's dress, putting on a mischievous face. "What is my daughter doing here?" That's when he knew that his daughter was blushing. "You're looking for him?" He saw her nod. "All I know is he's not in this hall. Looks like he's out."
"Do you know where he's going?" Music was playing in the hall, making the atmosphere congested by various things.
Regretfully, King Rexon looked confused. "I'm not sure which way he's going. But it seemed he was not far from the banquet hall. Ask a servant to accompany you!"
"I'm an adult, Father!" Lia protested.
"Lily!" Queen Renoa warned. "Listen to your father or you'll stay here!"
It's strange, it feels very strange, when you suddenly have biological parents after living for over twenty-three years, then after experiencing a death, and then living again for fifty thousand years.
Her life on earth was indeed very short, but it still made a deep impression, and could never erase all those memories.
Cindy. Lia even lost her best friend. She wondered if Prince Aerus told Cindy when she died? And how did her best friend respond? Does Cindy hate her?
Lia shook her head, summoned a maid to accompany her, waved, and nodded at the guests who greeted her along the way.
"Your Majesty, where are you going? We'd better not go far from the banquet hall," said the maid, a very patient woman.
While walking fast, Lia looked in various directions, failing to find her husband. "Don't be fussy, Merly! Mother and Father asked you to accompany me not to forbid me from doing something."
"But your body shape is not perfect, Queen. It's not very good if you go too far and cause something bad."
"So do you think I can only cause trouble?" Lia protested again, had time to turn to Merly, and groaned.
"That's not what I meant," replied Merly politely. "But you know, because of what happened a few years ago you have a developmental setback. Your body should be perfect. Therefore, I heard, you will get an assistant."
"For nothing!" Lia stretched her arms in the air, shaking her head hard. "Who said that?"
"I heard it directly from your parents."
"At least you did something well." That's not a compliment. "But never mind, I don't want to think about that. I don't want an assistant and that means I won't get one."
"Then do you need a husband?" Merly was just teasing. She had taken care of Lia since she was still in a water shell, so that maid could joke more than the other maids. But she still doesn't know Lia's true past. So when she heard Lia's answer, of course, she was surprised.
"Me?" pointed Lia to herself. "I already have a husband," she continued. "And that's my husband." Her head nodded at Prince Aerus, who was standing on a lonely balcony, looking up at the sky, looking amazing as usual.
Stunned, Lia smiled like a fool, feeling like falling in love uncontrollably again and again.
