I Love Being A Villain!

On his way to the pinnacle of power, Wang Yong was someone who was feared by the public and scorned by the people he loved.... His parents said. "After giving you this life, you only repaid us by bringing us nothing but shame and disgrace!" He snarled. "Don't forget you made me this way, what are you blabbering about?" He never cared about what the world thought of him. Because when he was disheartened in those times, a young woman smiled at him and told him. "Don't be scared, Wang Yong. In this life, I will never leave you because in this dark world we live in, to protect the ones we love and defend ourselves, sometimes its okay to be....the villains in the story." *(Author)*: Well, I I know that I should give some kind of declaimer so here it goes. THE NOVEL IS PURELY FICTIONAL...

Greetings, Godfather.

His childhood friend, Doctor Huang was fuming mad when he saw the old man's condition yet he still mustered a smile for the old woman who was getting her hand treated. Seeing the nurse successfully bandage her hand, he said. "Mrs. Fan, the nurse will take you to sit outside while I examine your grandson."

The old woman nodded, letting the nurse lead her out of the room. He turned to face the handsome teenager who was already sleeping on the chair, slightly snoring. He was infuriated again at his nonchalance. "Wang Yong!"

The sleeping teenager immediately opened his eyes and smiled eerily. "He deserved it."

"His right phalanges are badly crushed, his body is full of injuries and his left foot was dislocated!" He rebuked the boy. "Were you trying to kill him?"

"Why aren't you happy?" Wang Yong asked.

"What?" The doctor was taken aback.

"I helped him donate his money to a more charitable cause instead of wasting his money on young girls. You don't need to thank me, we are old friends. I promise I will try to bring more patients in." Wang Yong tapped the doctor's shoulder twice.

Doctor Huang's eyes twitched, making him pinch the bridge of his nose. Having seen this boy grow up, he knew it was better to hide his sanity in a safe place and ignore him. He was about to pick up his stethoscope when he saw a small packet full of white substance on the table attached to a paper saying.

THIS BELONGED TO WANG YONG.

He picked it up and immediately turned solemn. Codeine. "What the he-?" He ran out of the office to call him. "Wang Yong!"

Wang Yong stopped to see the doctor walking towards him with an irate expression. "What is it, Doc?"

Doctor Huang lifted up the white packet to see his stunned face. "Are you taking this?"

He watched the boy glare at the wall beside him distantly, his hands tucked in his pocket as he said. "You just had to tell him, didn't you?"

Doctor Huang pushed the packet in front of his face to regain his attention. "Focus! Have you started taking drugs?"

"No, I haven't. I just like to look at it, sometimes. It calms me." He gazed at the packet with an inscrutable expression.

"Well, from now on, keep it far from you. I mean it, Wang Yong." He kept it in his lab coat and walked away.

Wang Yong on the other hand, felt like strangling his little brother who leaned on the wall beside him, smirking. He ignored him and went to assist his grandmother who was watching him with a keen eye. "Grandma, let's go home."

It was already evening when they came down from a cab parked in front of an old building, a block of flats. When they arrived in front of their apartment, he opened the door and helped her lay down on her bed and covered her with a blanket before saying. "Grandma, sleep for now. I need to go out. When I get back, I will cook for you, okay?"

Seeing the old woman nod her head her eyes already closed, he went to shower and dressed up before he picked up his black jacket and locked the door, knowing that his grandmother won't be coming out of the house. He walked out of the building bending to a corner where he saw a man selling candy to some kids on the roadside. The man who saw him started fidgeting although he did his best to avoid eye contact with the incoming stranger.

Wang Yong grinned, sending tremors to the man's body. "I want to see Godfather."

The man finally spared him a glance when he finished selling to the little children. He tactfully took a step back and asked. "Code?"

"I will cut off your scaly ears and feed them to Chúndù if you make me repeat myself." The man looked up to see Wang Yong's deadpanned face.

He quickly placed a candy on the table and said. "Boss said that he will be expecting you in 30 minutes. Without any weapons of course."

"Thanks." Wang Yong grabbed the candy and rode on his motorbike to an old warehouse outside the town. The place was desolate and uncanny the moonlight guiding him across the quiet road. Two men who guarded the entrance groaned when they spotted him.

"Good evening, Wang." They chorused.

"Aww, don't tell me you people are still angry about what happened? He looked hurt about their bitter expressions.

They looked at each other, understanding their unspoken words about the person in front of them. Their noses were bandaged along with one of their arms hidden under their black jackets.

Wang Yong's face gradually changed as he flicked his finger near one of the men's nose making him howl in pain. He started laughing. "Cause I don't regret it! My childhood friend needed the money....."

Their crooked faces twisted in rage and bitterness, watching him saunter into the warehouse with a shrill laughter. He continued walking, ignoring the increasing silence when he passed until he entered an office.

A bulky old man was sitting behind a desk trying to sign some papers but was failing badly due to some ominous sounds in the corner of his office. He dropped his pen and yelled. "Enough! Can't you beat him properly without disturbing me? Try again!"

The men beating a young man were about to resume the beating when they saw Wang Yong taunting the injured man.

"Eh? Kong Zhu, how did you end up like this? Is crooked nose the latest trend in the gang now?" He cocked his head to the side, examining the guy who was tied up closely.

Kong Zhu spat out some blood on the floor, his bloodied teeth showing as he groaned in pain. "One day, I swear you will die by my hands, Wang Yong!"

Wang Yong chuckled, pinching his nose and twisted it to the side making the boy choke. "I...don't think so, Olaf. But you can keep dreaming if it will help."

He was about to drop his elbow on Kong Zhu's abdomen when he heard the old man say. "Wang Yong, stop torturing your god brother and come and greet me properly. NOW!"

Wang Yong instantly became demure like a cute little kitten as he quickly jumped up to stand in front of the old man, his head lowered in fake remorse. "Greetings, Godfather."
