Can We Do It Again?

The atmosphere became awkward, except for Jian who was overjoyed by the presence of his dad. Jia never planned it this way but due to her weakness and stupidity, she fell into her very own foolish trap. Her plan was simple. She would just arrange a talk with Anthon and reveal to him that he had a son with her. To prove it, she would ask him to do a DNA test himself and would hand him out Jian's specimen. There should be no emotions involved! She would just tell him that all was in the past, she was happily married and his son was in good hands.

Indeed, she did arrange a talk with him, brought along her son, got carried into her emotions and ended up hurting herself. Worst of all, she allowed herself to fall in love again and be pampered with the magic that it brought. She even allowed herself to become vulnerable as a glass and exposed her affection like a transparent compartment in her chest. She yielded to all of his display of affection like an obedient sheep to a slaughter! She melted in his arms and drowned herself in his lips!

"Jia!!! How could you be so stupid?" She almost say aloud the curses she threw at herself. "It's all too late

now. You've allowed yourself to fall in his hands! "

"Mommy? Shall we go now? "She was taken aback to reality when Jian tugged up her shirt.

"Daddy will take you there, don't you like it? "She mentioned the word 'daddy' casually, as if she was long used to it.

"Noooooo! My classmates have their mommies and daddies there! " He sulked.

" Okay, then! " She could not refuse anymore. This was his son's basic emotional need.

At the school, he waved them goodbye happily as he ran inside the premises. He was jumping all around and laughed at almost everything which caught his eyes. Even those things which were not funny at all. He was so happy!

Seeing this, Anthon's throat tightened. He could no longer do anything, other than depriving his son a complete family. He knew Jim was a good father for him but no one else could ever take his place!

Trying to conceal his pain, he laughed while watching his son doing a show. He, then again, wrapped her shoulder with an arm and look into her face thinking that she was sharing his joy. But, instead, she just stared back at him!

After some moments of silence inside the car, he commented with a soft grin in his lips.

"Jia, our son is so handsome,

right? "

Jia just replied with a smile with head lowered down.

"It's such a shame that..." he paused.

"Shame, what? " Jia suddenly looked up.

"It's such a shame that we created him inside the tent! " He chuckled with a malicious spark in his eyes.

She snorted, too ashamed to recall this thing.

"Can we do it again in a softer bed?" He taunted .
