Words make me fly.

Immediately I ran as far as I could to finish the script that would become great news in this city. I put my phone in my trouser pocket.

My steps began to approach the car that was ready to take me to the office.

"Emir, wait!" someone approaches me.

I turned to the man while holding the big camera.

"Wait for me! I want to go home with you," she moaned.

"Come in!" I said, finally getting into the car.

The lock was attached, my eyes began to focus on the street. However, I saw a friend who looked thirsty. "This."

I thrust the bottle of drink towards Arga.

"Thank you," he said.

"You're welcome."

We go from there. There still seemed to be crowds of people who might end the case quickly.

Not far from there, we arrived at the office.

I immediately entered the parking area behind the building.

Arga and I walked down the parking lot in a hurry.

My steps suddenly stopped when I found the figure of a very familiar man.

"Jebran," I said.

"Oops, sorry!"

"Sir."

I repeated my greeting to him.

He smiled at me.

Seeing that it looked so foreign to Arga, he finally left us first.

I looked at Jebran without worry asked, "What's the matter, sir?"

"Nice job! It's not in vain that you have a close friend like Fredi. Don't forget to have lunch," he complimented me.

Surprisingly this man looks warmer than before.

"Thank you," I said hesitantly.

"Then, I'll excuse myself first," I said goodbye, lowering my gaze.

"Well, please."

Jebran said very softly.

I can read his eyes and the look on his face. I passed that body that had been watching me with a smile.

Along the way, my heart was beating fast.

I started to feel my chest gently. I slowed down the road took long breaths to get cool air and calm my brain and mind.

'What is this? Am I really in love with him?' muttered inwardly.

I blushed and battled my insecurity.

I threw all the discomfort out of sight.

I entered the study I had almost forgotten about suddenly. I have to finish the report today.

A news and live broadcasts I can summarize at once.

My fingers start mischievous when they rest on the computer keyboard.

Eyes and hands fused to work together. My brain controls all my movements and all my thoughts.

Nothing can mess this all up.

Drrrtt!

The sound of the cell phone often distracts me from concentration. Several times he called at the wrong time.

I decided to close my phone it wouldn't be visible to me while typing the script.

My best friend called me at the wrong time.

Dilan kept calling me until I almost finished one script.

I turned my phone over and looked directly at it.

Dilan called me ten missed calls.

Twenty minutes ago, he was expecting me to take his call.

"Dylan," I mumbled.

I still feel disappointed in him even I feel tight when remembering that kiss. "If he likes me, he shouldn't be suing me!" I grumbled.

"Who?" asked a man approaching me.

Suddenly I was shocked because the sound was very close to me.

My head spontaneously turned towards him turned out that Arga's laugh amused at my softest hiss.

"What's who?" I throw.

"You said someone likes you. Who is he? Does the boss like you?" whispered Arga.

"Hey, what are you dreaming about?!" I grumbled my gaze.

"Don't fool me! I saw the boss smiling warmly at you earlier. He's not usually like that with us, is he? He's been normal all along. Besides, he's changed a bit, hasn't he? However, he still looks cold in front of us. But, not to you," said Arga.

"Who are you guys talking about?!" continued one of the men.

I saw that Gilang had entered into our conversation. Beside him was followed by Rendi.

Everyone looked at me as if something had happened. "Why are you here? What's wrong with me?" I raise my eyebrows and chin at the same time.

From a distance away, a woman watched us as we gathered. Anindira—Secretary Jebran crossed his arms who was watching us all this time.

"Ahem," I cleared my throat once to disperse the comrades.

All returned to their starting positions. Their sitting is not far from me. I always get more male partners than females.

The woman looked at me harshly and sharply. I pretended to ignore him until he's back was out of sight. I sneered in annoyance, "You bastard!"

"He's like that! Pretending to be a boss," said Arga was sitting next to me.

"Go to work!".

We're back in a slightly busy position.

I was curious about Dilan, but in the end, I gave in to him. I went out to get lunch. I still have my phone in my hand.

I saw that Dilan's name was still clearly visible.

"I'm a little annoyed with you. But," I muttered.

"Emira," someone called out to me.

I lifted my chin towards the face of the man right in front of me.

"Dylan," I said.

I was about to walk forward when he felt guilty. The look on his face looks confused and lethargic.

I saw the suffering figure that I know him. He can't do something without any reason.

There must be a reason! I looked away a little, but I tried to fight the hate.

Now, I stopped walking. But instead, he pointed at me.

"Emira, I'm sorry," he whispered in front of me.

"I didn't mean to do it. Yesterday I was very drunk! I did it subconsciously," he complained ramblingly.

"I don't know what to say? When I saw you suddenly appeared in front of me. I was out of control anymore. I was afraid to meet you," he said with a pitiful face.

I was about to fade away in a moment, but my nature was a bit harsh.

"It's up to you to forgive me or not. But, I went to see your father. I will protect you," he said.

Hearing my father's words made me turn to him. He is my closest friend. However, my hatred for my father is like the highest enemy. My mother strictly forbids seeing my father.

"Dad," I said.

"He will pick you up. He is already here. I hope you can avoid your father. I will protect you," said Dilan, frowning.

Look sad glance from his face.

Dilan held my hands forcibly. Look like he's going to take me away. Suddenly my body was attracted by something.

"You said, 'I'm asking you to help look after her,' so I can do it." I saw the back and neck of Jebran had pulled myself behind him.

I can't seem to believe what I did.

"But, the agreement has ended," said Dilan.

"It won't end. I'll take care of it for you!" Jebran firmly held my wrist. I trap behind him. My body is slender, but I had time to hide behind his body.

"He is mine," said Jebran.

"What do you mean?" Dylan replied, frowning.

"He works at my place means I have the right to manage him. I have the authority to take care of him. And this time, I don't want to see women cry because of men," said Jebran made me stunned.

Turn out he saw me crying. Is it true? Does he like me?

Dilan was devastated by Jebran's words. The heart of a friend he had dared to win.

"I'm his best friend!" Dylan said.

"To me, a man can never be a friend."

The two gazes matched each other.

I took a deep gulp of the memory. Try to record every word between them.

You will find surprises in the next chapter.

What do you think will happen?
