The mystery of the woman's death.

Narrow space, chairs, broken glass table, blood, fishy smell. Everything that smelled and looked so horrific. I'm not afraid at all, even more, invulnerable than usual.

Meanwhile, my friend Arga pulled my shoulder slowly.

"Emir," he called.

I just tilted my head, looking around the room. Fredi looked at me with a low nod once.

I turned right in front of Arga and said, "Why?"

"Why are we here?" asked Arga, weakening his tone.

I think this kid is a little scared and shaking. I casually handed him a note with my email name and home address on it. Arga gaped at the writing. Shock and his eyes bulged sharply.

"Do you know him?" continued Fredi looking at the note.

My face showed no fear, let alone trembling.

My eyes are so teary with the strength of my faith right now. My serious face without a smile.

"He last texted me yesterday afternoon. I haven't opened my email since the weekend two days ago."

"I just saw this morning. I don't know why I came here in such a hurry to see what was going on happen? But, it's too late," I said flatly.

"Emira, can you provide this information to my office?" take Fredi.

I turned to my friend. If he is Dilan's close friend, it means he also can be relied on me.

"Come on! Let me join you guys on this news," I begged with a determined look.

I started to follow Fredi's footsteps to leaving the room. A tragic murder had a clear expression on my face. Arga continues to follow our steps with great care.

"My car contacts fell in that room," I said, checking my pants pocket.

"Hah!" said Arga.

"Wait for me here!" I said to my colleague on this one.

I ventured back into room 313. Suddenly the woman's body was brought by the medical team to the ambulance.

I immediately went into the room. It looked a little quiet from the inside. I'm looking for my fallen car keys.

When I was remember something, I also accidentally met the key displayed on the floor near the window.

"Here he is!" call me.

I picked it up with a crouch, then moved slowly while looking around the room. A photograph stands tall on a small table.

I grabbed the photo slowly while looking at all faces on this photo.

"Emira," called Fredi.

Suddenly I put it back on the table.

"Well," I said.

"Have found?" Freddy asked.

"I did," I said.

I started to turn around. However, my body immediately remembered the strangeness of the photo. I immediately grabbed the photo with dexterity. I snatched it to find out who that woman was?

"How did he know me? That's weird!" I thought.

In front of the car, I passed a man who just stood absentmindedly. Arga—cameraman's finally waking up due to my arrival.

"Arga," I called.

"Ah! You're finally back," complained Arga.

I threw the car keys at him, politely greeted him.

"You're driving!" I asked as I opened the door beside the wheel.

"Ah!" said Arga confused.

In the car, Arga and I were just silent. Now and then, I look at the car window.

Can't understand what happened? We returned to where we came from before. My vision is muddled, silent, and only focused on the road.

Someone is blocking my way. Who is this person? My gaze just dropped to the floor. When my foot started to the left, it followed me on a whim.

"Hey!" said the man.

I lifted my chin to his face. It turns out! He is my boss. Jebran.

"Sir," I said with grinning.

"Where have you been?!" asked Jebran.

"I just got word that there was a murder at a location not far from our office," I said casually.

"Who told you to go there?" Jebran showed his serious face.

"I wanted to do it myself," I insisted.

"No one told you to go to the murder scene!" snapped Jebran.

I shrieked as he snapped at me in public. I started to put up a style against the word at the same time.

"Hey, what do you want? All this time I've been working, no one has stopped me from going here and there. But, why did you refuse this news?!" I rage against my own boss's words.

I don't care what will happen.

"But, you are the property of this company. No one should carelessly cover bad news!" Jebran strengthened his words.

However, Arga began to enter that uncomfortable zone.

"Sir, we didn't cover it. I think we have to work together to help this news. He sent a short message to Emira. And we went to see we haven't covered it yet," Arga defended.

Jebran looked back at me with a sharp gaze when Arga spoke to let go of all this.

Jebran finally relented from Arga's words. Meanwhile, I just stood still in front of the other workers.

"Are you okay?" asked Arga.

"No, I'm fine."

I forced my way to my desk. Right now, I'm starting to hesitate to know what happened to that woman.

A photo that looks foreign is in my hand. Then, I turned that photo over, and I saw a small engraved letter with the initials on it, 'MD'

"MD?" I said.

I looked at the people in the photos one by one. However, my eyes stopped on the one person inside. About five people stood up with a smile.

In the middle, it must be the woman. While in the end, on the right side is a foreign man.

"Ha!?" call me.

I began to remember the face of the man his father's age, "Where have I seen him before?"

I tried to remember all my memories. All my memories of my father and his friends. Even uncle and his friends.

I started to despair when my mind couldn't remember this person.

"But, I'm sure! I must know this person," I grumbled to thump my head on the table.

"Hah!" I was shocked all of a sudden.

I grabbed the photo firmly and ran towards Jebran's room.

I stopped right at the door with all my courage. I ventured to knock while ducking down. Suddenly I didn't realize the door was already open, while I knock on the door forcefully. And my hand was grabbed by a man.

My facelifts in annoyance as the door opens and, he grabbed my hand.

"Hehe, Sir." I greeted Jebran was about to leave.

He still held my hand and let it go. My face instantly faded and, looking at him.

"You?!" I grumbled.

"Hey, can't you see this door is already open?!" Jebran growled.

"I-I'm sorry, sir. But, I want to ask your approval. Let me cover this woman's death!" I pleaded.

"What?!" he said.

"Please! I think I know this person. However, I still need time to remember," I said while showing Jebran the photo.

"Huh! Where did you get it?" asked Jebran.

"I need your help!" I asked quietly.

Jebran immediately grabbed my hand to the room when someone approached his room.

Jebran locked tightly with all his annoyance.

Why did my face turn a little pale when he pushed me into his room? What is this? Why did he do this? I thought it was a little messed up by this cold guy.

Jebran turned his body and approached me with a blazing face.

You will find surprises in the next chapter.
