Anka still felt that something was wrong with her. She was able to confirm many suspicions, but a problem that haunted her mind since she came to this world, received an answer. She just didn't like it.
However, she had nothing to do. Some things cannot be controlled no matter how hard you try.
While the girl was thinking about life and how hard it is to live, Fahim had finished healing Sana and Eve.
These were taken up by William and Nao respectively.
Fahim just looked at them for a moment then turned his head towards Anka, and by coincidence their eyes met.
Anka's heart seemed cold now. She no longer felt what she felt in many times before , maybe even the opposite.
The girl didn't show anything on her face, but in her head thousands of thoughts floated aimlessly.
The man ignored the commotion around him and headed towards Anka. The latter tenses up subconsciously but tries to appear normal.
However, before the two could be at a relatively smaller distance, Juliana intervened between their gazes.
- Please heal Matei too.
Fahim then looked at Alesio and Matei who were not far away. Matei's condition was quite painful. Even if his life was not in danger, injuries like that can be very painful.
Fahim just looked at Anka again for a moment and then walked towards the two boys.
Anka breathed a sigh of relief.
Now she understood more, and although she is quite good at adapting, even she can't handle a situation like this.
In fact, she gave herself an ironic smile. Even though her memory was now scrambled and random, she could discern the current situation. She wanted to be able to have time to think freely and quietly, too bad that didn't seem possible at the moment.
It took about 20 minutes to heal Matei. By the time those who were still shocked by the mass death of their colleagues slowly recovered, it's a shame they started arguing.
Anka really thought that this scenario should be called: 'Team Carousel'.
How many times have teams been made and then split up again?
Answer : too many times...
Now there were only 16 people left from the original 40, which is quite tragic.
After a verbal fight between different people, peace was reached again.
Matella - I know you are upset. We are deeply grateful to our colleagues who sacrificed themselves ... As long as we remember them, they will always be alive...
The woman on Ferru gave an emotional and encouraging speech, even if most of it was sweet words and empty words.
Her affect was successful though , most of them calmed down, only Paraiso remained disturbed.
- Easy for you to say! From your point of view, only some good colleagues died, and with only gratitude you are grateful and move on, but for me?! My lifelong partner died! Do you think that some nice words and gratitude will become my husband now?! Bico ... Bico ... Agh ... why ...
Everyone looked at her with sympathetic eyes. However, nobody had anything to do. A dead man is dead. Nothing can bring him back.
- Get together, Paraiso. Aguias women don't behave like that. Be more aware of our situation.
The crowd is now looking at Madeva , an Aojo woman , and she actually lost her brother in the last fight. His name was Sinoes.
- Now we are on a deserted planet that is closely related to the gods. Among us there are people tied by a thread on their souls and their end will be like a brake for the temple. Our numbers have become terribly small, we have no time to cry or argue.
Take a deep breath and continue.
- Whether it was wrong or not to come here, it's not important. We have found out the purpose of the rope now, we still need to find out how to get rid of them. Although the end of that madman was sudden and strange, it does not matter. We must take advantage of this.
Then she stopped and no one said anything.
Alesio stood next to Matei looking at him with very nervous eyes. Although the healing spell withdrew the blisters, the pain still remained on the skin. Plus there were obvious rems all over the skin.
The boy didn't know what he thought then he got up. He adjusted the cuffs of the little suit he was wearing and a serious air came over him.
He moved closer to the large group and began to speak.
- Although our goal is to eliminate that rope, we must not forget the purpose of the scenario. We must develop our fighting skills or we will be punished by the system.
While they were talking, Fahim had approached Anka again, only this time he stopped a meter away from her and looked down at her. The girl had her eyes closed and tried to ignore him.
Her whole body felt cold as she thought about her guesses about the man's identity.
- I will leave .
He suddenly spoke.
Anka opened her eyes and subconsciously looked at him.
Their eyes met again and neither of them spoke.
They sat without moving looking at each other. The first to look away was Anka. She could no longer look at those golden eyes. Her soul cried out that she wanted to fight and hatred rise from her, but also feelings like sadness and boredom.
Since she didn't know their source yet, she couldn't say a conclusion, but somehow her intuition strongly warned her...
Other ideas sprung up like mushrooms after the rain, it's a pity that they had to put them on hold. It was not a good time to meditate.
- Thank you for the help .
The girl answered the man politely.
He just nodded and turned.
The large group didn't seem to notice that they were leaving, they were still busy with their discussion.
Anka watched his back. And the masked man disappeared in the blink of an eye.
After a while, everyone reached a consensus. They knew they had to get out of here first.
They planned to search the library where they were teleported here. There they should find more advanced and useful magic books, plus information about the temple and so on.
Then they looked at Anka. The only person who could see souls and the one who apparently had a lot to do with the power of death.
The girl was currently trying to arrange her clothes which were quite messy. Her face was extremely white, but otherwise it didn't look like she had been horribly burned not long ago.
Without further ado, they also told Anka their plan. She had nothing to add.
So they started walking around that floor full of dungeons.
They found some kind of drawing on the wall that resembled an older magic circle from the books. It activated directly when they reached it and found themselves back in that starting hall.
They were quite happy and quickly left for the library. A non-stop book reading marathon began.
Anka was probably the most relaxed, casually reading random history books from all periods and trying to figure out the confusing things in her mind.
