Chapter 37 - I Want To Dominate The World

Thundra sat up from the ground with disbelief drawn all over her lightly pale face. Just now, she was unable to process what had occurred.

"How- How did you do that?" Thundra's eyes widened as she continued to think, the expression of shock and disbelief was all that was seen on her face.

"Huh? Oh, I just shot you in an angle and direction that when dodged would throw you off balance. It was easy really, reducing the burst firing rate at a speed which would be easy to evade, but impossible to decipher the hidden poison." Felix's mouth curved up to an entirely arrogant smirk, "I used to try this on someone would moved as fast as lightning, but using it on you seeemed like bullying."

Thundra's eyes flared. Bullying? Bullying?!

Felix only dropped his weapon and turned his back to Thundra. His entire being exudes an overly demonic and arrogant aura- the aura of the arrogant son of heaven.

"With my impeccable reaction and calculation speed that transcends the links of you- A two star creature..." Felix looked over to stare into Thundra's glistening eyes, his smirk was already extending to his ear, "I can only be called... unbeatable."

Thundra rose up in fury, her eyes flaring with rage. With just a slight jerk of her ankle, she leaped forward.

Felix sighed as he turned around to face Thundra who was charging towards him. He had a cold gleam in his eyes as he dashed backwards with the faint smirk growing on his face.

Wanna hit me? Come on, let's play a little game called tag!

Thundra who felt Felix's mental provocation had her eyes glow brightly as she leaped after him. Thundra seemed to have entered a trance-like state as she moved, her mind devoid of thoughts or emotion...

Only a faint instinctive feeling remained. The strong desire to make the being before her bleed!

Felix who instinctively noticed the immense change in Thundra frowned deeply as he crossed his hands before his face. Suddenly a wild and overbearing aura shot out from his soul and engulfed the room.

Felix skidded back across the ground in his defensive pose, knocking a few chairs away in the process. The sleeves of his hood on his arms were torn apart, revealing his fair and spotless skin.

Thundra who had gained the upper hand in momentum continued with her assault, each strike more ferocious and powerful than the last.

Demon Hunter and Flaming Maiden both turned to look at each other before throwing a popcorn in their mouths. A faint glow in their eyes.

The movie before them was just too good!

Felix still had a faint smile on his face, but his clothes were torn to pieces after multiple claws and punches from Thundra. All were powerful, but not enough to leave a scratch on Felix's seemingly soft and smooth skin.

This was the true essence of the digital humans' defence!

Thundra was about to strike again when a popcorn came hurtling towards her face, the speed of the popcorn was enough to make the wind sing as it tore through the wind.

With an explosion of air and popcorn, Thundra was blasted away and sent into the wall. The collision even caused the room to shudder.

"That's enough miss, shows over. You've done enough showing us such a wonderful sight- now please go away..." Flaming Maiden rubbed her eyes with a box of popcorn in her hand as she turned to face the barely clothed Felix, "...and let me enjoy this blissful sight."

Demon Hunter traced Flaming Maiden's eyes with a frown only to catch a sight of Felix's bare, but chiselled chest. Her eyes narrowed as she continued to size up the half naked Felix.

"You have such a wonderful build..." Flaming Maiden spoke out with a soft voice, her eyes glistening. After some seconds she averted her gaze, "Too bad you're still a kid."

"..." Felix was speechless.

With a few groans and grunts, Thundra finally dragged herself out of the broken wall. Her glowing eyes dimmed as she fixed them on Felix then looked over to Flaming Maiden's approving stare.

"I-I admit defeat..." Thundra quickly lowered her beet red face in shame as she closed her eyes. With a soft voice she continued, "But we'll battle again, and next time allow me to properly show my skills- you're making me look weak before my sisters."

Felix raised a brow, but didn't utter a word. He only arched his spine and took a bow, regaining his peaceful and aloof aura.

"You two have been thinking about your personal problems, but discarded the real goal for bringing our team together." Demon Hunter threw away her popcorn and walked up to Felix and Thundra who stood adjacent to each other. She took on the appearance of a wise legend as she added with a righteous tone, "Making the Dark Phoenix squeal in pain."

"And I have terrible news concerning the Dark Phoenix... I've sent it to all of you." Flaming Maiden said as she waved her hands to the side. "It's information on the main boss, mini bosses, and it's main troopers."

Felix's eyelids twitched as he saw this screen appear before him. He'd spent a while in the game, and still hadn't explored all it's secrets.

'View notification.' Felix thought with a wry smile.

"I really need to get a manual for this thing..." Felix grumbled as he lifted his hands as tapped on the transparent screen. To his shock and disbelief, the screen that looked as if a three ton box of metal can phase through was as thick as a glass window.
