Tension begins

Geli's Pov

I just took Stephanie to Red.

"Red!" I call him. He was grilling when suddenly we disturb him. He just looked at us for a moment and turned his attention back to his grill.

"You take care of her." I said as I push Stephanie toward him.

I rolled my eyes to them before I leave. I can't help but feel this. What's this? All I can feel is anger. I am angry with the two of them now especially with Red. What is happening to me? I should be used to Stephanie flirting with any man, but I seem to get angry and disgusted when I see them together.

Curse this side of me!

"Geli!" I heard Dondria call my name.

I turned to her and smile to her.

"Good evening, Dondria!" I greeted her.

"Good evening too! Come, join us there. The barbecue is delicious, Althea's marinade is delicious. " I was just surprised when she mentioned Althea's name with a smile.

I smiled and hoped that they would get along well again.

"Ok" I followed her to our colleagues who are now eating barbecue.

"Geli ..." I looked at JJ whose raising his hand.

"Sit here!" He added.

I just sit beside him and he gave me one stick of barbecue.

I took a bite of it.

"See! Is it delicious? Is my marinade just right? " Althea asked me who was just opposite me.

"Yes, indeed." I smile.

"Of course! My older brother cooked that!" Althea said making JJ who was next to me cough.

I tap his back and give him water.

He hold his chest when he stopped coughing.

"Thank you, Geli!" He said as he held my two hands.

"Aahh ... Its okay."

Red and Stephanie arrived just in time to place a freshly cooked barbecue on the table. He looked at me and frowned. He rolled his eyes to me without any words came from his mouth.

I quickly took my hand and lowered it to me.

"Brother! Hurry! Join here!" Althea stood up to pull her brother. She put him in her seat earlier so now we are facing each other.

If he can't look directly at me, I can't look at him directly either.

I frowned and bit my barbecue.

I did not realize that I had run out of food.

I looked at the plate full of barbecue and I would have taken one to get but Red and JJ took to give it to me.

"You can have this!" JJ smiled at me.

I did not know what to get so I was hesitant.

"Thank you!" We were surprised when Stephanie took Red's barbecue from Red's back.

I clenched my fist under the table. Red look at me and he started eating again. I just took JJ's barbecue and was annoyed to bite.

"Guys, I know! Let's just play truth or dare! " I was surprised at Althea who suddenly appeared behind me.

I then grabbed my chest.

"Althea ...." I murmured.

"Okay! That looks fun! " Stephanie shouted and now her hands seemed to be wrapped around Red's neck.

"You're a flirt." I whisper.

""What ?!"" They looked at me at the same time.

"What ?! I said, let's do it! " I gusture my hands.

They made a sign of relieved.

If last night we used a cellphone for flashlight, now the boys have struggled to make a bonfire.

When they had finished making the bonfire, we sat down and surrounded the bonfire.

I was next to JJ on the left, Terrence on my right, Dondria was on JJ's left, Dondria on her left was Stephanie with her head leaning on Red's shoulder, I was like rolling my eyes. On Red's left is Althea, to her left is Vincent and the last is my youngest sister, Lia is in the middle of Vincent and JJ. Oh, by the way, Lia is just a 10th grader on highschool.

"Ready, Guys!" Althea raised her hand.

""Yesss !!!"" Everyone answered at once.

"Ok! let's just start with someone then call a friend who's next, ok? " Althea further explained.

"Oh yeah! That's great! So let's start with .... Terrence!" Dondria added.

I am happy that the two naughty in our group start to make a peace again.

"Okay! Let's get this on! I choose truth! " Terrence said readily.

"Ok, I'll ask ..." Althea presented.

"Hhhhmmm .... What is the most painful wound you have ever had ?!" Althea asked.

Terrence laughed at Althea's question.

"Is that still being asked? What do you want to know? My knee wound when I was a child because I fell on the ground? ooohhh that hurts... " Everyone laughed at what he said, and I also laughed except for Red who was looking at Terrence seriously.

I still hate the woman leaning on him. Not compatible! Whatever!

"Of course not. The most painful wound I received was.... setting free of my loved.... " Everyone stopped laughing and I looked at Terrence.

"It hurts more, because even if you let her go, there is a wound left in your heart, and I think it will heal for a long time ...." His expression became sad. He even looked down at the sand.

"But of course, I'm glad she's happy now and she already has a friends!" He raised his face. The expression on his face changed again and he suddenly smiled and looked at the bonfire.

Everyone stopped and bowed except for Dondria and me.

Dondria even looked at the faces of our colleagues. It looks like heaven and earth are covering them.

"You are so dramatic! You are a jerk man huh!!! " Dondria touched Terrence's cheek and pressed it. And she smiled at us.

"Of course!" Second by Althea.

"Okkk !!! Let's move to you Althea! " Dondria pointed Althea. Althea immediately nodded.

"Truth!" Said Althea.

"Okkk ... Uuuhhhmmmm .... Who is your first love?!!!" Dondria even pointed to Althea.

Althea seemed to blush at Dondria's question. She also smiled and looked down.

"Ehem!" Red try to get an attention.

"Its... Its.... Ha-Harry .... Hehehehehehe" Althea said tremblingly.

Vincent crumpled his expression as he looked at her.

"I thought it was me..." He whispered.

Althea looked at him and smiled at him.

"Ok ... ok ... All right, let's ask Vincent, what about you Vincent, who is your first love?" Dondria asked cheerfully.

"Tsk. I have never felt this way before. Just now, and that's the woman who said her first love was Harry, whoever he was ...." Vincent said in a melancholy voice.

"Aaaaawwwwww !!!!" The two men teased him.

"Hhhmmm .... I'm too young back then ehhh!!! Right, my dear brother?! " Althea spoke like a child again.

Red sighed.

"Actually, she only liked him just this college year." Red calmly teased his sister.

"Yooouuuu!!!!!!" Althea shouted.

"Don't be a crybaby again." Red added.

"Hmph!" Althea crossed her arms and look at the bonfire.

"Now, now, don't be mad, Thea. I am not angry just because of that anyway." Vincent put his arm around Althea.

We laughed when Red got licked by his sister.

This siblings are really cute. But only now have I seen them like that.

Red just rolled his eyes on Althea.

Everyone is tired but we are still here at the bonfire.

There are only five of us left awake.

Stephanie fell asleep on Red's shoulder, Terrence was lying on Dondria's leg, JJ was also leaning on my shoulder, while Vincent fell asleep with his head resting on Althea's head. Althea seems to be getting cold even though there is a bonfire so Vincent hugged her.

"Hhuuuuhhhmmm .... There are only five of us left awake." Dondria said yawning.

"Yes, Geli. I'm tired ..." Lia said while scratching her eyes.

"Its ok, you can go to the room now." I said. I can barely move because JJ is leaning on me.

"Ok. Bye bye! Have a good night !!" Lia said softly before she finally left.

"Brother, what about me? You should treat me like that too? " Althea asked her older brother.

"You don't deserve it ..." Red teased her again.

"Uuurrgghhh ... Hmph!"

Later, Dondria fell asleep leaning on Stephanie. And Althea also fell asleep in Vincent's arms.

Red and I were the only ones left awake.

"Why are you still awake?" I was shocked when he talked to me.

I look at him and raise my eyebrow. I point myself and say ...

"Are you talking to me?" I ask.

"Is there anyone else awake here besides the two of us?" He nodded.

I rolled my eyes.

"Huh? I thought you will never talk to me forever?" I sarcastically said.

"I already told you that you should avoid me, so I can stop this feeling." Is he explaing on me?

"So? Then don't talk to me, now." I said in a low voice but in anger.

He really didn't speak again. I was the one who commanded it to him but I seem to regret it.

I woke up with my head was leaning on JJ.

I just opened my eyes but I did not move because I might wake up the sleeping JJ.

I look at Red's face whose leaning on Stephanie's head.

I was shocked when he suddenly open his eyes.

"Goodmorning." He said.

"Goodmorning." I greet him back.

After a while I felt my shoulder hurt.

Red slowly moved Stephanie's head to Dondria. He stood up and grabbed his shoulder.

He approached me and raised JJ's head and gave me a signal that I can stand up now. He laid JJ's head on the sand so he was now lying on the sand.

I also grabbed my shoulder and I stretched my body. But my shoulder is still hurt.

"Let's go." I was surprised when Red suddenly grabbed my hand and pulled me away.

I think he needs help.

I let go of his hand which caused him to look at me.

"I have to help you to stop loving me." I said.

But he still held my hand and pulled me again.

"I'm already helping you but you don't want to help yourself." I spoke.

"Sshh ..." He shush me.

Ok.

...

He took me inside his and Terrence's room.

"Why did you bring me here?" I asked.

He closed the door and let go of my hand. He took something out of the black bag.

"I think we will be needing this. Luckily, I bought this. " He said as he raised the thing he took from the bag.
