Me and aino got ready to head out as we had nothing better to do than subjugate a monster nearby.

Our target, a symphony bird, a large griffin like monster that can make a person become deaf permanently with its voice and even shatter rocks with it.

The suit that aino has, though it is resistant to this type of attack, and aino is also resistant to it. I am not...

Even if i use earplugs i think my heart would stop working just from the vibrations of it. Aino and her people doesnt really need a symphony bird corpse, so i get to keep it!

As if my system storage can store a corpse anyway... travelling silently to our destination, it's home.

Arriving in a cave, 6 meters above ground, it was made.

The symphony bird wasnt there meaning it was still on a hunt. I was gonna plant a trap on its nestbed while aino will be on lookout.

Creating a rune under the nestbed, i dont trust fire because in comics and animes i see people who burn in fires made as traps are worthless.

They always survive it. So instead i was gonna use a trap that would create a gigantic earth spike bursting from the ground.

Almost halfway done aino grabbed me and kept my mouth shut with her hand. Even a finger entering my mouth.

And then we turned invinsible, as aino was hugging me like a teddybear.

The symphony bird appeared, it's throat is just 2 balloon bags, its head is that of a horse, the body of an ox with weird looking wings.

Almost like a demon's, dragging with it is a deer. Butchering it first with it's sharp paws, then eating its insides.

It isnt eating on its nest though, but instead on the hard rocky floor. While it was distracted eating the meat.

Aino removed her hand from me and i gave her a sign that i would continue the rune.

She held me by the shoulder as we trudged along, we were right next to the nextbed, then we carefully stepped on it.

Being as light as possible, the focusing magic on my fingers i left a trigger on the rune and then provided a spell.

I dont know anything much about magic but the system provides! placing a spell scroll on the ground, and putting an image in my head on what the spell would do i imprinted it on the rune.

But i would need to do it for 2 minutes straight, i was almost done but the bird finished eating, i still have a minute left.

And aino knew it, picking up a stone while touching me she threw the stone at the edge of the cave creating an echo further distracting the bird.

Making it go find the cause of the noise, i was done and we moved away, the bird came back 5 minutes later too, a bit alert, but it lied down on its nest, and then slept.

We waited for 25 minutes just to make sure it fell asleep and then activating the trigger i pierced through its entire body. Piercing through its heart aswell, killing it instantly.
