There are too many of them and i could see more coming this way, there was an iron kite shield near me so i picked it up and used the pointy end of the shield to stab one of them, but at the cost of breaking it.

I immediately used it to ram them damaging their souls but not killing them, this will give me a few moments to run away.

The moment i tried to run away the archers immediately fired at me, i dropped to my knees and used the broken shield to protect my entire body.

Then i stood up threw it at one of them destroying one's bow, then i picked up another one, a round wooden Shield.

Then i grabbed my buster sword, and swung it around me, but it got stuck in the wall, and will take a while for it be removed, But i just put it in the inventory.

Then I took it out, another volley shot at me so i defended by getting my buster sword and using it to block the arrows.

Then when they were reloading i charged at them, i dragged my buster sword in the ground then did an overhead slash, then a vertical slash to the right, killing one and heavily damaging the other.

Then i did a horizontal slash slicing two in half, the sword was stuck in the wall and the other two remaining behind me fired arrows hitting my back.

I faltered a bit, which gave them enough time to reload, i stood up then i rushed at them with the shield in my head.

But they shot my shoulders, it felt heavy to move them. But i bashed the shield at one of them, the other was reloading, he was at arms reach so i grabbed the arrow.

Then i used the arrow then i stabbed the one i bashed in the core, it didn't pierce through though, i used the shield to force the arrow to pierce through.

The enemy reinforcements were to close so i had to run away, i headed towards the exit of the tunnels, but they were still following me.

"you took your time!" it's that lord, he's waiting outside the sewers, he took a closer look "oh you brought survivors!"

Damn it, this guys an idiot! If i brought survivors I wouldn't be running right now. I shouted out "wrong! These are living armor monsters!"

He was surprised by this, he shouted out "archers ready!" then i heard "fire!" after hearing that i immediately dropped to the ground and used the shield i Brought to defend myself.

The arrows flied true, some of them killed the living armor, most didn't. After that volley i ran outside, and i was safe, the Lord said "leave this to us."

Then i walked inside the crowd, then out to a safe area. I failed, but at least i gained some power.
