The Long-waited Game

"Does he want to gang up on you? Be careful!!"

Liza uttered with worry as Alex walked towards the group of young men, who were all members of the basketball team. In the middle, it was Tony, their leader.

Their meeting was behind the restrooms near the sports area. It was quite empty of other students other than the baseball members, who were all gazing at the approaching Alex with frowns.

Especially Tony, who was following him with malicious eyes... something was going down, but Alex got close enough to start a proper conversation.

"I heard you want to meet me. What's up?"

Alex asked with a neutral expression. He wasn't showing any signs of worry or anger. He just looked at Tony approaching with a kind of hostile expression.

They silently faced each other, and the atmosphere was just throwing punches around. However, a sudden change happened!

"Oh, I'm glad you came! I was hoping you would fulfill your promise and play with us today?"

After the cold expression, Tony's face immediately bloomed into the joyful one. Putting his hand on Alex's shoulder and observing all his reactions.

However, Alex was playing around and after a couple of seconds of thinking, he also smiled back and acted like everything was ordinary.

"Sure, I don't mind playing for a few minutes, but I'm not as good as you expect"

Surprisingly, Alex accepted the invite this time instead of finding excuses like before. Even Tony was a bit dumbfounded at the easy approval.

"I never thought you would accept to play with this meathead"

The succubus was also surprised as she stood beside Alex while carefully watching the meathead of the basketball leader's actions. He was totally normal now, like a typical human.

Nothing strange about him at all and no demonic energy was emitting from him. But that could be just a disguise.

After chatting a bit more, everyone headed to the basketball court, but after wearing their jerseys.

And soon the place got filled with spectators! It was amusing to watch the handsome Alex who was getting popular all around the campus play against the hot-headed Tony!

"Are you seriously playing? You're just trying to look cool in front of everyone else!"

Among the spectator was Liza, who was just floating around. She couldn't believe the boring Alex was wearing a basketball jersey and being inside the court to play a match.

However, Alex had a plan of mind to end long-waited game and lose the interest of everybody else.

The game was starting already, and everyone was on their toe and excited to watch! Everyone began moving.

Soon, the ball flew in the air and straight into Alex's hands. However, his expression was of panic and the ball slipped off his hand and bounced back to the opponent.

Which unfortunately caused the first points to be scored against his team, leaving everyone shocked and dumbfounded.

"I-I'm sorry"

Alex clumsily apologized to his teammates, which they would hear again multiple times over the upcoming 20 minutes.

The match continued and Tony's team was absolutely smashing Alex's, and the score gap was huge. Everyone watched in shock. No one expected Alex to be this bad!

"Man! You're so bad. My grandma plays better than you!"

One of Alex's teammates yelled while wiping his sweat. Alex's mistakes caused so many points to be scored against them.

"Wow, your acting skills are top-notch! I understand now~"

Liza while watching from above, floating around. She finally understood what Alex was trying to do! He was to trick Tony and everyone that he was just a normal human!

And it worked! Even Tony was looking at Alex with a weird look on his face, full of disappointment. He did lose interest in the handsome guy whom he thought was at least good at playing basketball, as he showed in the beginning.

Fortunately, the humiliation was ending soon and Tony's team won with a massive gap, thanks to Alex.

Alex, on the other hand, apologized one more time to his teammates, before he left the court, not with a drop of sweat. He didn't do any worth-mentioning efforts to start with.

"Wow, I didn't know you were bad at something, dummy, how disappointing~"

Going to the changing room, Alex raised his head up as he heard a familiar voice in front of him. Short petite girl with orangish hair and a taunting smile. It was Lily!

"I'm sorry to disappoint you~"

Alex responded with a smile to the tsundere girl. It was his goal to disappoint everyone, but he knew since this beautiful petite girl with a juicy butt was bonded to him, there was absolutely no way she would be disappointed to see him!

Getting closer to her while watching her face slowly blush. She was happy to see him, although she tried not to show it.

Unlike his other girls, Alex has done none smutty things with Lily nor any kind of intimacy, so her reaction to him suddenly placing his hand on her head and stroking her smooth orange hair caused her face to turn red as a tomato!

"D-Dummy! We are in public!"

Lily immediately got flustered as she saw people around them, but Alex was patting her head like a cat. It was definitely embarrassing!

"Y-You didn't disappoint me, just s-stop it!"

Rather than moving away or removing his hand, even such a shy tsundere girl loved some head pats, and couldn't refuse them. However, Alex shortly retrieved his hand back.

"Then I'm glad. Wanna tag along to the library? I want to get something to eat too. I'm quite tired of being watched here"

Alex suggested, and Lily immediately agreed. She was also getting annoyed by everyone's eyes. It was also a chance to meet her only friend, Erin, after quite a long time.

[A/N: Erin is the librarian girl if you could remember, and Lily is her only friend]

The two walked off and headed towards the library building, which wasn't very far away, without forgetting to buy a few snacks, despite eating in the library was prohibited, but sneaking food wasn't impossible!

And eating food wasn't the only thing they would enjoy secretly in the library...
