CHAPTER 4

"Aaaaaaaaah!!"

A screaming sound you can hear all over the Medicinal Valley.

"Stop howling like a beast in the heat! We still need to open at least 720 acupoints to reach level eight in your soul refinement. You had better start your meditation while I go and prepare your medicinal bath. You need to soak yourself inside this tub with medicinal herbs for an hour."

Amory Cassian thought he could relax for a while, while he was soaking himself with a medicinal bath. The thought no longer existed when he felt another wave of excruciating pain, as if he was being cut into pieces.

"uhg nnh..." He tried to stifle his groans as he persisted until one hour passed by.

When he finished cultivating his soul, Amory Cassian attended qi manipulation. He then began testing his elements affinity. Davy, the Elemental Monarch, gives his assistance to open his spirit energy for elements.

Now that he seems to be ready, he is thrown inside the volcano to upgrade his fire element. Then he was tossed to snowy mountains wherein the temperature is around negative 96 degrees Celsius. To attain a lightning attribute, he is tied up with a metal rod and stuck up at the highest peak of Thunder Ridge Valley. Before he can finish refining the other elements, he is snatched by The Warlord named Duncan. Before he can react, Duncan drops him in the ocean.

"Kids nowadays are too sheltered. They don't know the real meaning of hardships. If you can't even stand your little obstacles and little pains, then you will never grow."

"Damn old man! You call these little hardships?! You might call it a life-threatening condition!" Amory shouted back.

"Don't get distracted kid! You need to be aware of your surroundings!"

Amory looked around him and saw sea creatures ready to attack him. He fights and swims for miles and miles away until he reaches the shore. Duncan took him to the training ground for warriors to teach him martial arts.

"It would have been better if you had your own physical body so that I could help you to temper your body. When you go back to your body, I suggest that you should prioritize tempering your body so that it can handle your soul. It's like hot water; if you put it inside a glass, it will break. You need a suitable container like a mug."

Day after another day, he always trained in different fields, such as alchemy and potion making. He also learned magic, spell casting, arrays and formations. He also meets a dwarf who is good at smithing and weaponry, along with an elven who is said to be the best archer in the Mystic Realm.

Roar!

'My poor soul can no longer take it. I was startled by the aggressive sound of a beast. If you want to ask where I am right now... to answer that, I was thrown by Epivíosi. He wants to test my survival skills. That's why he threw me here at the Mystic Forest.'

He runs through the forest and sees a cave where he has decided to settle down while hiding from the level 9 beast. Before we were thrown, he was instructed to collect some items to pass the test.

( "You need to collect the moonlight flower, the fang of a silver fox, the eyes of the thunder wolf and the core of the abyssal snake.") These are the words that Amory recalls. 'He is a freak. No, they are all freaks.' He took a rest for the night and made some preparations for his hunt.

In the Mystic Realm, six years went by as if nothing; but for Amory... those years were hell for him. The most awaited moment comes, when the Void Master brings news about a spatial gate going back to Earth.

"Refine this void ring so that you can take away with you our partway gifts. After you refine it, go to Galena. She will help you to put a spell on your soul. It is to help you suppress your soul power; your body is too weak for now to handle your soul." The Void Master instructed him.

The next day, all Almighties are around the portal to bid Amory goodbye. He looked at everyone in the hall and put on his best smile ever.

"Let's not meet ever again." Amory said as he turned his back and walked to the portal.

"Brat!" An annoyed woman's voice shouted out. She tried to dash over to Amory but was stopped by other Almighties.

"Hey brat! You should get stronger so that you can protect yourself and your loved ones." She once shouted again out of concern. Amory stopped for a few seconds but never looked back and as he entered the portal another voice shouted out.

"Hey Amory or should I say Raynier! I put another spell on you. When you go back to your body, the memories that you retrieved, I lock them away. You will only be able to unlock them when you reach a grandmaster physique, so you need to prioritize your cultivation in the mortal realm."

"What?!!" By the time Amory turned around, the portal was already closing. He only glanced at the fact that everyone in the hall had a smirk plastered on their faces.
