The Name is Lilith
An eerie silence hung in the room as Edwin processed the things he just heard. Max had told him everything in minute details, from how he had killed everyone trying to get close to William to how Lilly had severed his arm.
Edwin fell into thought as he frowned the more he thought about it. But he knew he would need some time to think about it. This problem seemed more complicated than he expected.
"Can you tell me some details about her and her relationship with William?" Edwin asked.
"Her name is Lilith. She said it herself when she warned me and told me to send you a message," Max replied.
Damien froze the moment he heard Max's words. He couldn't believe his ears, so he asked again, with a shaky voice, "What was her name again?"
Edwin raised his eyebrows, seeing his reaction, but didn't interrupt. He simply observed.
"Lilith. I don't know her full name as she didn't mention it," Max replied, also confused about Damein's reaction.
