Chapter 45 – Standing in Hidden World

Nodding, she agreed to talk to him.

Tom was glad that she was understanding. He wore clothes and asked her to follow him.

There was no better place to talk alone than the rocky area where they met before. This area was secluded and surrounded by rocks and sea, making it suitable for their discussion.

They walked for a few minutes before arriving at their destination. Darkness surrounded them aside from the flickering street lights in front of his house and the few small lights from the cargo ships outside Florida's coastline.

Sitting on the rock, Tom looked at Mireya straight in the eyes. The tanned girl had been wary of him since they left the house. Even now, she stood a few meters away from him with an alert look on her face as she watched him silently while leaning against the rock.
