Chapter 17

Ethan's POV

I was getting ready for our date when I heard the bell ring. I guess Mum opened the door because I can hear some noises from downstairs. I made sure I was looking okay before heading downstairs.

I entered the living room to see my Mum almost interrogating Damian. I went towards Damian "You look so cute" he said softly kissing my cheek. I blushed, still not used to his compliments. I heard Mum clearing her throat "I'm here too you know". We looked at her and my cheeks turned a shade darker.

I had completely forgotten she was here. She walked closer to Damian and pointed a finger at him "If you ever hurt my son, I'll cut off your balls. Doesn't matter if you're my boss or not" she said threateningly. Her protective side coming out. I just shook my head. "I'd never dream of it Mrs Taylor" he said. Mum nodded "Good" she said.

"Take care of him" she smiled. I sighed in relief. "I'll always" he said looking at me fondly and something else I couldn't tell. I think I'm falling for him. He took my hand in his and took me towards his car.

We reached the destination. There were so many cars parked and there were a lot of people outside. We exited the car and he took my hand in his. My eyes lit up when I saw we were at the amusement park. I smiled widely and hugged him "Thank you so much" I said happily. "My pleasure Kitten" he said.

We entered and he bought the tickets. "So where to first?" he asked. I looked around thinking. I pulled him to the 'win a prize' game. I looked around the stall, my eyes fell on a cute teddy bear. I wanted that. He handed the ticket to the concessionnaire. The person gave me five darts and moved aside for me to hit the balloons. I threw the first dart which landed somewhere in the stall, the second missed the balloon. I however managed to hit two balloons.

I pouted, I could hear Damian chuckle. "Which one do you want Kitten?" He asked me referring to the prizes. I pointed at the brown teddy bear. He nodded and handed another ticket to the concessionnaire. He took the darts and threw at the balloons. Every single one of them hit a balloon. "Woah" I cheered. He asked the concessionnaire to hand the teddy bear to me. I thanked him and took the bear happily.

We went around playing a few more games mostly me pulling him to the stalls. I saw the cotton candy stall and took him with me. I took him with me. The lady at the stall handed us a cotton candy each. We sat on the bench to eat. I held the teddy close to me. "Do you like soft toys?" he asked me. I nodded "I love them". "Okay I'll buy you more" he smiled. My eyes widened "Really?" I asked "Yes Kitten" he said.

I didn't think he would want to buy me soft toys. I remember when I kept them around but one day but Emma said it was too childish and she felt disgusted so I packed them up and stopped keeping them in my room. I thought that maybe then she would not hate me as much but I was wrong.

"Kitten?" he called, I snapped out of my thoughts. "What happened?" he asked in concern. I just shook my head "Just thinking" I replied. He looked as if he wanted to ask more but didn't. We had finished eating the cotton candy and I got up pulling him with me "Time for the rides" I yelled and he chuckled. I pulled him to the roller coaster. He handed the tickets at the booth. We took our seats and the ride started.

"That was fun" I said catching my breath from the rides we've had. "Let's go to the ferris wheel, that's the only one left" I said.

Damian's POV

"Let's go to the ferris wheel, that's the only one left" he said. We have played all the games and tried every single ride. I was really having fun after a long time. Ethan is so excited the whole time it's so adorable. It's was amusing to watch him play and the adorable pout he had when he couldn't win. He screamed on almost all the rides but insisted to go on every one of them. He's so cute really.

I handed the tickets at the booth and we sat in one if the passenger car. It was a double seater. The ride started. When we were on the top, his hand unconsciously held onto my shirt. I took his hand in mine "Look at me Kitten" I said he looked into my eyes. I gently kissed him trying to distract him. I pulled away and soon the ride came to an end.

I took him to the food court and we gave our orders. "I had so much fun today" he said. "I'm glad Kitten" I said and picked up our orders. We sat at a table and started eating.

After we had finished I took to the ice cream parlour and asked him what he wanted. "Chocolate" He replied, I nodded and ordered the chocolate flavour for both of us. I handed him his ice cream and we walked towards the exit.

We reached my car and I opened the door for him. I slid in the driver's seat and started the car pulling out of the parking lot. He was so quiet, I glanced at him to find him sleeping. I chuckled he must have been tired. I smiled and took him to his house.

I got out of the car and opened the passenger's door. I unbuckled his seat belt and lifted him easily in my arms, he was holding onto the teddy in his sleep. I carried him bridal style to the door. He rubbed his eyes sleepily "Key is in my back pocket" he said. I nodded.

I took out the keys from his back pocket and unlocked the door. I entered with him in my arms and closed the door behind me. I took him to his bedroom and laid him on the bed. I changed him into his pajamas. I took the clothes lying on the floor and stood up. I felt a tug at my shirt, I looked down to see him looking at me "Don't go" he said. "I'm not going anywhere Kitten, just let me keep these clothes in the basket" he nodded. I put the clothes in the basket. I took off my shirt and slid in the bed with him. I wrapped my hands around him and he snuggled closer to my chest. I put the blanket over us drifting off to sleep.
