Denver was probably the luckiest person to be ambushed like this. Earth was his domain and trapping him in such a place was impossible. However, he had to protect not only himself but Elise too against the skeleton army.
He gritted his teeth and held Elise closely when they fell. Surprisingly, the make out barrier he had made on the spot crumbled soon and he had to deflect it so that it didn't collapse on them.
He sighed and released Elise from his hand. He looked at her worriedly and asked, "Are you okay, Ely?"
Elise shook her head slightly then nodded, "I'm fine. Just slightly affected by the change of gravity. Otherwise I'm fine."
"Then it's good," Denver sighed and tried to look around but the only thing he saw was darkness. Even when was looking at Elise, he only had an idea that she was there.
The cave has no source of lighting so it completely dark. He couldn't even see his own hands. But they knew about this and had prepared for it.
