Chapter Ninety: The Two Sentinels

As the Empress initially thought that it was the second earthquake that she was expecting, she paid it no mind and instead asked Ari the following question, "She? Who?" 

However, Ari did not bother to respond. Her eyes were fixated by the mark on the wall as it shortly glowed that caught the attention of the Empress. Just what did Ari do for a wall to glow? Was Ari already showing off her skills as a member of a mage family? If yes, why now when the ground is shaking for the second time? 

Haneul wanted to ask for those questions. Yet the only question that escaped from her mouth was, "Ari, what is happening?!"

The Empress and Ari were a distance away since Ari was near the glowing mark and Haneulwas near the children, protecting them at all cost. She also wanted to ensure that Ari would be safe and was positioned as if anytime by the moment, she would dash towards Ari if anything might turn down.
