Note For Erica

Then Steve received a message after five minutes, "There is only one signal on the way to your hotel to office, stop there and keep your car window down, my man will drop the device in your lap."

"Perfect"

Next day as decided a guy dropped a parcel on Steve and he checked the device while in the parking lot and realized his car too is bugged, then he went to his office cabin and the black device he had confirmed his cabin is bugged and he found two to three devices which he again decided to let them be.

Then he went to visit Jack and before informing him anything, he checked his cabin too and just like he predicted, Jack's office too was bugged.

So, Steve decided of a plan to invite Jack to Starlight restaurant to discuss this matter and last night he came up with a plan so he lied that the reason he came to Seattle is for Erica so that the person eavesdropping on him would relax assuming Steve is here for the woman he loved and not because he got hold of some secrets.

Therefore he shared the story he planned last night with Jack.

Now, the next thing he needed to do was share the same story with Erica, so that he could inform her of his plan and also he needed her consent to go ahead with what he planned.

Without Erica's support, he wouldn't be able to move ahead with his plan.

So he decided to meet her up for lunch but if he messages the name of Starlight restaurant then the hacker might make arrangements in advance to keep an eye on him so he messaged her the wrong name of the restaurant so that the hacker would be distracted.

But he had to inform Jack the correct name so he wrote a note, asking him to burn them after reading it to avoid leaving proofs.

Then he picked Erica up from the parking lot so that she wouldn't reach the wrong venue.

And in the time between he met Jack and Erica, he wrote the entire story explaining the truth to Erica which he decided to share with her while being in the car as his car too is bugged.

Then he met Erica and handed her the notepad explaining everything.

Note for Erica:

Erica, please read the contents of this letter very carefully. My hotel suite, this car, my office cabin they are all bugged, I am not sure if someone is following me now or not but I am taking this risk.

Last night, as I told you, some serious problems are going on in the Seattle branch and it is not something I can take lightly anymore as even my mobile is hacked.

So, I thought of a plan last night, according to my plan, I'll pretend I came to Seattle for you as you were my lost first love, this is the lie I would be using and acting along with, but only if I have your permission.

Sorry, but for the time being this is the story I already used why and where, I will explain later, but I had to, if you are not comfortable with it, then don't worry I will find something else.

Right now we are not going to Valen, we need to go to Starlight so please make an excuse on why we should not go to Valen, don't mention Starlight's name, just say you will take me to a new place, if you don't know where it is then find it on the internet and direct me, I know the way but for the sake of recording devices we need to act well.
