Sword Ego - [ Chapter - 77 ]

As all of them received sponsors, Dae-Seong was the only one screaming again but it was a lot less louder than before since he got kind of use to the pain but it still felt like his body was being ripped into shreds and he decided to look at the others.

When he did this he saw that Bren was covered in the same blue light but he wasn't even screaming and he didn't even look like he was struggling and when Dae-Seong looked at Dalfine she was also meditating.

All three of them were fighting against the pain although Bren was just not feeling the pain at all and so he walked up to Dae-Seong and said, "Sir, do you wish for me to help you?" he said as he covered himself in white light.

Dae-Seong wasn't completely sure what he was going to do but through his screams of pain, he was able to muster out, "Yeah-" but immediately after that he started to feel even more pain as he screamed and wriggled around.

But then Bren's white light started to cover all three of them and as he did this, Dae-Seong's pain was lessened by a lot and it didn't feel like he was dying anymore but it still hurt like his body was being blown up.

Although this time it was a lot more bearable, Dalfine and Leonard were still meditating but it looked like the pain for them lessened as well since they didn't look like they were using that much energy anymore.

After a while of Dae-Seong gaining the Sponsors, he was finally able to walk after bearing through the pain but it hurt a lot more every time, he moved around but he wanted to make a pain tolerance skill.

So as he could still bear the pain as he moved, he entered skill creation mode and designed the pain tolerance skills and after creating it, he spent loads of points getting it to legendary rank immediately.

Once it was upgraded, Dae-Seong was finally feeling better and he could now catch a break and his new legendary rank skill. "V Pain Tolerance" so now he was extremely happy.

It was also a passive skill which could be activated, deactivated or changed to a different pain tolerance level, as to how Dae-Seong designed it since having a pain tolerance is good but it could also have down sides.

Like if he ever worked his body, he would never know and just pass out since pain tolerance is just a tolerance not an actual defensive skill so it was more like a mental skill to help him through the pain.

Then as Dae-Seong could now bear the pain, he said to Bren, "Go help the others instead of me, I can handle it now." as he said that Bren shook his head and quickly went to help the others.

Right after the notification Dae-Seong was surprised that it was quickly but he quickly checked to see his new abilities that he received and when he checked them there were two SS-Rank abilities and one S-Rank ability.

The S-Rank ability was called, "Transfer" which allowed Dae-Seong to transfer anything he wanted to another place such as items, pain and even emotions which was like a multi use skill which made it extremely powerful for him to use.

Next was the SS-Rank ability, "Future Instinct" although it sounder powerful, it only allowed Dae-Seong to sense what would happen next, not see it but it would allow Dae-Seong to easily dodge enemies if he used it well and correctly.

But he wasn't sure how it was better than his foresight ability since he could see everything clearly but as he started to move, he could sense different things which felt extremely weird and nauseating for him so it was just bad for him.

He wasn't even sure why the system recommended the ability but it should be good since it was the system and it was ranked SS so he wasn't complaining or anything since maybe he could use it for the future but right now it was just a disturbance.

Lastly was the other SS-Rank ability, "Sword's Eyes", it's description said that it improved the swordsmanship of Dae-Seong and it also improved Dae-Seong's compatability with every sword imaginable so even if it had harsh conditions Dae-Seong would be able to use it.

So Dae-Seong decided to try it out since it said it's effects activate whenever Dae-Seong holds a sword and the better the sword the better the ability becomes and it even has an enchantment ability to imbue energy into a sword to give it better effects and stats.

As he brought out his sword and touched it, his eyes turned blue as a feeling of energy blasted into his eyes and he felt like he was in a different space now and he just saw a baby floating in the space he was in and the place was completely empty.

Once Dae-Seong saw that he was immediately confused as to what had happened but the baby's eyes opened and looked at Dae-Seong as he was pushed back to his normal faze and Dae-Seong wasn't sure what he just saw and so he was confused.

This made him curious so he tried appraising the sword but it still had the same description even before that but it's stats and effects changed a bit and it was a definitely higher than before but then he saw a part of the description he hadn't seen before.

It said, "Ego: Awakened (Infant)" Dae-Seong then heard a sound beside him and saw the same baby from before and it was floating and was smiling behind him and it started to giggle, Dae-Seong smiled as he held it's tiny hand.

Leonard suddenly appeared behind him as he was covered in sweat and he was taking a big breath each time he took one and then said, "Wow, you've awakened your sword's ego, huh?" he said as he held onto Dae-Seong's shoulder.

After a bit Leonard was finally able to stand on his own and then he brought out his sword then said, "If you can see your sword spirit, you can probably see mine, meet 'Cline'." be said as a teenager floating appeared and looked at Dae-Seong.

Cline then said, "His talent is immeasurable, Leonard, he was able to naturally awaken his Sword's ego." he said as he was talking to Leonard but then he turned and faced Dae-Seong as he quickly said, "Give you sword spirit a name to give him his identity."..
