Second round (17)

This bundle of light floated there in the air for a bit before suddenly flying out to stop in front of me.

I couldn't see what this bundle of light was at first, but when the light slowly faded, I was able to see the true appearance of this bundle of light.

It was an egg.

It wasn't that large of an egg, it was just around the size of a large watermelon.

But I could feel the heat that was coming from it, showing that it wasn't a normal egg.

Since it was an egg that came from the dragon, it was most likely one of the dragon's eggs.

"You're a female?" I couldn't help asking in a surprised voice.

The small dragon gave a chuckle before saying, "You humans always seem to care so much about gender. But I'm not a female, I'm a male. This is an egg that came from my wife and me."

"Wife?" I repeated in a softer voice.

It turned out that dragons also had the concept of marriage that they called each other wife and husband.
