Sullivan looked at the house in front of him with a smile. He had accepted to help Taiga find her brother and tell him that she was okay. And there was nothing to worry about.
It should be an easy task, but he knew it wasn't like that at all. The hard thing was explaining to her little brother that he wasn't the one who kidnapped her before he used reinforce magic to duck his face.
'Well, I can just bring him to the apartment then.'
Sullivan thought to himself, considering the best approach to ease Taiga's brother's worries. However, he realized that it might be more effective if he just brought him to her and let her be the one to explain everything.
After all, Taiga's brother would likely trust her more than a stranger like Sullivan. Plus, seeing his sister safe and sound would provide immediate reassurance and help alleviate any lingering doubts or suspicions he may have had.
Sullivan decided that this was the best course of action. It wasn't a bad idea at all.
As he stood in front of the house, he heard voices coming from the inside. It was the voice of a little girl and a young man.
When he heard the voices, he knew to whom they belonged. It was Illya and Shirou.
They were coming out of their house. And when they saw Sullivan standing in front of their house, They couldn't help but be wary. So many things happened in this city. And they were not good things.
Be wary of the stranger who stood in front of your house without prior notice. That's what you should do to prevent bad things from happening.
It was understandable for them. One of their family members was just kidnapped a short time ago. Shirou stayed vigilant and subconciously brought Illya behind him, ready to take any action necessary.
Suliivan saw that, and he couldn't help but speak.
"I am not a bad person."
"Every bad person always spoke like that."
"I can't deny that."
Shirou and Sullivan looked each other in the face. Their eyes locked, and tension filled the air. Sullivan's gaze held a hint of mischievousness, and Shirou couldn't let his guard down. He remained cautious. He didn't know what the stranger in front of him wanted from them.
"Well, I don't want to drag this out. How about you come with me so that you can meet with your sister?"
Hearing what Sullivan said. It was as Sullivan had thought. Shirou used reinforcement and charged at him without talking.
"Onii-Chan wait!"
Illya seemed to know that Shirou wasn't Sullivan's opponent. She wanted to stop her brother, but It was already too late.
"You shouldn't attack people out of nowhere."
Sullivan caught his hand, which had been reinforced easily. A shock wave rippled through the air, causing Shirou to stumble back in surprise.
"I told you, I'm not a bad person, aren't I?"
Sullivan said calmly, releasing Shirou's hand.
"Let's go meet your sister peacefully. I still need to go somewhere after this."
Sullivan didn't wait for his answer, He apparated him along with Illya to the apartment. To them, everything just changed in the blink of an eye, and they felt like puking their breakfast, but with a wave of Sullivan's hand, they felt better.
As they stood in the unfamiliar apartment, Shirou and Illya exchanged bewildered glances. The sudden shift in surroundings left them disoriented, but the lingering effects of Sullivan's magic provided some relief.
"Where is this place."
Shirou looked at Sullivan, still on guard. He would fight him to death if it meant protecting his sister.
Sullivan chuckled, his eyes twinkling with amusement.
"Relax, I didn't bring you here to do something bad to you. Look there."
Sullivan pointed somewhere with his shin, and Shirou followed, his eyes widening in surprise.
"Taiga-Nee? Is that you?"
That was when he saw Taiga taking her time eating food while watching a drama on a large screen TV. She was having the best time of her life now.
Her state was completely different from what he had imagined. She was kidnapped for God's sake. How could she live so comfortably in a very luxurious apartment?!
Shirou couldn't believe his eyes. He had expected to find Taiga in distress, but instead, she seemed to be living a life of luxury. It was hard for him to comprehend how she could be so comfortable after being kidnapped.
The stark contrast between his expectations and reality left him feeling bewildered.
"See? I am not a bad person, right?"
Sullivan smirked, seeing their expression now. He told them he wasn't a bad person, but they didn't believe him.
Hearing that Shirou felt ashamed of himself, He then bowed at him and apologized.
"I am really sorry. I thought you were her kidnapper, and you want to get the ransom."
Sullivan shook his head. He understood him and told him that it was okay. Taiga, now hearing the voice of the three, looked at them in surprise before becoming happy. She ran and jumped at Shirou and Illya.
"Shirou! Illya-Chan!"
The two of them were crushed by her hug. Sullivan looked at their reunion and felt moved. He started to miss his family.
'When I get the information I need and the cooldown is finished, I am going to go back home with Ai.'
Sullivan let them talk to each other for some time before he spoke to them.
Okay, now I have something to do. I will tell you how to get inside the apartment. Remember, only you and your little sister can come here. If you brought someone else here. They would be sent back, and they wouldn't remember anything about being here."
Ai's safety came first. He wouldn't let anything bad happen to her at all cost. Only people who were allowed to know the location of the apartment would be able to recall it. Everyone else would not be able to remember its existence.
Sullivan, after that, went away and let them talk inside his apartment. Ai and Miyu had gone to school early in the morning, so Taiga would be the only one in the apartment when Shirou and Illya went to school.
During their conversation, Sullivan checked on Illya. He wanted to know which Illya she was, and he found that she was Illya from Fate/Kaleid. So she wasn't a threat.
Sullivan went to the church in the city, and he felt that it was full of corruption. He felt annoyed by it. Wasn't the church supposed to be a holy place?
"I really have a toxic relationship with stuff that involves god. *Sigh*"
He didn't know what to feel right now.
