Chapter 3 First Mission

Stan Lee looked at the time on his cartoonish watch.

"Well, I think I have been away for long enough. I have to go back to do my job."

Stan Lee stood up from his chair. 

He sighed deeply, he still wanted to spend time with his grandson but he knew that if he were to be far away for too long.

The god level extraterrestrial beings would find a loophole of that time and try to mess up his omniverse.

"I will give you a way to contact me and a way to receive your reward. Take this. I know you don't like the system very much but this should help you."

[If you were in another Omniverse. The system will connect to the one true God of the Omniverse you were in. You will also be able to reap rewards from them through missions that were given to you.]

"What is this lame system name and what is with this–dedicate my heart?"

Luci didn't try to show it but he absolutely loved this system just because it used an anime trope.

"I know you like it, sonny. Well, you can customize it later if you want. This system will only listen to you, not even me can get it back. If you have a problem with the other true Gods. They will answer directly to me so don't worry about making some mistakes."

Stan Lee said that mistakes were bound to happen for the first timer.

Luci nodded and he told him that he would try to make as small a mistake as he possibly could.

"Don't worry about silly things and do it at your own pace. You have all the time in the world. Just think of it as a part time job. You should live your life as always."

He then said goodbye to his only grandson before he went back to his office. He worked in a place like a comic studio. And it fit him for some reasons.

And when he was gone. Luci could tell that everything went back to the way it once was.

"Welp, now that I have met my biological grandpa and know about my biological parents. I should go back home and prepare myself for what is going to come."

Luci stood up from the chair and was ready to go back home right away.

However, he wanted to check something with the system.

"By the way, I will name you Ceil. Play Attack On Titan 1st opening for me."

[On it Luci-sama.*music with out ads*]

"...I love this system"

He reached home not long after. 

The system gave him access to every anime and music without ads!

And that was the reason why he started to like this system.

And when he arrived home he found that his adoptive grandparents were waiting for him.

They looked at him with concern.

'Isn't their love a little bit heavy?'

He got out of the car and Ben walked toward him. He hesitated to ask something but finally he came out with it.

"Did you just meet with him?"

"Who?"

"Your biological grandpa. The one true God of this omniverse."

"You knew about him?"

"No, I don't. but your late mother told me that he would find you around this time."

All of the bodyguards weren't for protection but to keep an eye on him. If one day Luci could run away from home without them noticing him.

That was the day he likely met with his biological grandpa.

Everything happens for a reason.

"You knew my mother but you decided to keep it a secret? What the hell gramp."

Ben looked guilty but he said it for his own good.

"Your mother wants you to live a normal life until the day your grandpa found you. She said that you will have to do what you must. You are the only hope of our universe."

Luci sighed and he understood everything. He wasn't some drama queen to make things difficult for everyone.

"I understand, Do you want me to tell you about the conversation I had with him?"

"No, I don't want to know but please if you have to do something. Please tell us before you go and do it. That is all I ask of you."

Ben looked older. He was like Stan Lee. He must be very guilty about his mother's death.

But how could he be blamed for it when he was just a normal human.

Luci nodded and told him and his adoptive grandma that he wouldn't do something stupid.

"We should have dinner together tonight. Peter wants to introduce his girlfriend to us. We will then talk about your grandpa with him as well."

May smiled and kissed his head. She knew that Luci is smart so she didn't have to worry about him doing something he couldn't do.

Time passed and dinner came.

During dinner, Luci got his first requested mission while he was teasing Peter about his girlfriend, Mary Jane Watson.

She was an actress but not into the main role because she didn't want to have any skinship with the male lead. And that made Peter want to marry her.

Ben and May were very happy to hear that their nephew was going to have a family of his own.

Luci checked on the mission and everyone except MJ suddenly looked at him. Even Peter knew about his mother but didn't say anything to him.

'Betrayer must be punished. One of his collections shall be mine.'

They seemed to know what happened to him right now.

"I think I might have to go somewhere soon."

"I–Is that so? Can you tell me where you are planning to go?"

May asked. She felt anxious about it. She could tell that it might be a very dangerous place.

"Rome maybe, where I can see a lot of titans…"

May knew where it was. Luci liked anime so she learned about it. He was going to go to such a dangerous place!

He could be eaten by the titan there!
