The woman was standing there with her words stopped as she looked at us one by one, up and down. She was silent for the most part.
She and I stared at each other in the eye until someone broke the silence and spoke.
"Aren't you the woman from before?" Gesine pointed out, and the woman looked away, seemingly wanting to deny it. She's trying to hide it; I can feel it.
"Oh, you're right; it's the person that tried to kill me—" Immediately, her head turned towards me, and her eyes widened in fright. She was exuding something that resembled black smoke.
"What are you staring at? Go on, introduce yourself," Aveleen said to the assassin woman.
"I—I am Melany. That is it."
"You haven't said anything about yourself. Is that how you introduce yourself?"
"But, young miss! I cannot say my rank and the things that I do; only the master has the right to give such orders."
"Am I not my master?"
