CHAPTER THIRTEEN
"Wait, what?" I said, and Levi tightened his grip on my collar. "How shameless do you have to be? Do you hate me that much? Huh?" ???? What's going on now? what was written on that letter, anyway? "Wait, stop. You're not making any sense-" I said, but Levi slammed me against a wall. My head was brutally slammed against the wall, and a portrait rattled on its hinges. there was now a hand squeezing my throat dangerously. Come on! A letter isn't worth giving royalty brain damage! Or strangling someone! "Levi. Wait. Stop. Hear me out first." I said, choking. breathe! why can't I breathe? Don't fail me now, you stupid lungs. But Levi wasn't listening. Time for the last resort.
"Levi. Remember when we… danced? In that garden? Im sorry I stepped on your shoes, and that I'm at fault for this whole mess. I'm sorry for everything I did to you without even realizing it." I said, last breath gone. The hand around my throat instantly let go, but it was a bit too late.
"It's me, Cordelia."
