The next morning, Peter woke up, got dressed and walked out of the room. As he was about to go downstairs, he heard Aunt May's surprised voice from the living room.

"Hey! Ben, come and see, Thor has grown a lot in just one night!"

Peter was shocked when he heard Aunt May's words. He thought, could it be that the enlightenment pill he fed Thor last night was too strong and caused Thor to grow a lot bigger? Peter quickly quickened his pace, walked down the stairs, and quickly came to the living room.

He saw Aunt May and Uncle Ben sitting around the single sofa, where he had dumped Thor after he took the enlightenment pill last night. Just as Peter was about to walk to the sofa, Uncle Ben's voice came over.

"May, you're right. Thor has grown a lot bigger overnight, but it's probably because he's still young and growing." As Uncle Ben finished speaking, Peter just came to the sofa and found that Aunt May was exaggerating a little.

Thor's size was just as Uncle Ben said, just a little bit bigger. Although it was not normal, it was within an acceptable range. In his heart, Peter cursed the system secretly. The system introduction clearly only said that it would help to temper the body, but did not say that it would make the body grow bigger.

Seeing Thor's pitiful appearance, Peter felt a sense of guilt. However, this feeling of guilt only lasted for a second. Peter tapped Thor's little head gently. As expected, he had taken the enlightenment pill. His intelligence had now reached the level of a ten-year-old human child. He clearly didn't even flick its nose with much force just now. The force he used was no different from just lightly touching him. Yet, this dog pretended to be so pitiful.

If Peter didn't know him clearly, he would have thought he had used a lot of strength to hit him. Peter tapped Thor's forehead lightly and said unhappily, "Okay, stop pretending to be pitiful, you bastard. I didn't use any force just now."

After hearing what Peter said, Thor stopped pretending to be pitiful. He stuck out his tongue, called out to Peter a few times with a flattering look on his face, and then jumped off the sofa. Afterwards, Peter ignored Thor, washed up and had breakfast as usual, then put on his schoolbag and went to school.

However, as Peter just walked out the door, his cell phone rang. Peter took out his phone and found that it was Norman Osborn calling him. Peter was a little confused about why Norman Osborn called him, but he still answered the phone.

"Norman, what do you want to talk to me about?"

"Good morning, Peter. I have an experiment here, and I believe you will be very interested in it, so I would like to invite you to come and take a look."

Peter stopped when he heard Norman Osborn's words, wondering what the experiment Norman Osborn was talking about was and why he was so sure that he would be interested in it.

"Peter, today Dr. Otto Octavius is going to conduct an artificial sun experiment. Are you interested in this experiment?"

When Peter heard Norman Osborn say the name Otto Octavius, he had already roughly guessed what the experiment was. When Peter heard the words "artificial sun" said by Norman Osborn, he had confirmed his guess.

It seems that if nothing unexpected happens, today should be the day when Doctor Octopus was born, but that was according to the original plot.

Now that Peter knew this, he would never let Otto be controlled by his artificial intelligence like in the original story. After all, how could a research genius like Doctor Octopus become a super criminal. Peter would definitely recruit a talent like Doctor Octopus to work for him. "Okay, see you soon then." Shortly after hanging up the phone, the address was sent to Peter's mobile phone by Norman Osborn.

Looking at the address on his phone, Peter stopped a taxi and told the driver the destination. After getting in the car, Peter called Gwen and asked her to take a day off for him. Gwen was speechless after receiving Peter's call asking for leave. She had already asked for leave for Peter several times during this period. This leave made the teacher worry whether Peter had any health problems.

If Gwen had not repeatedly assured him that Peter was fine, the teacher would have visited his home. However, Gwen still agreed to help Peter take leave and told Peter that this was the last time, and if he needed leave again, he could do it himself.

After hanging up the phone, Peter touched his chin, wondering if he could donate some money to the school and talk to the principal to allow him to go to class or not as long as he didn't miss exams. After entering, Peter looked around and found that the hall had undergone some simple renovations and contained many mobile portable instruments. And he don't know if it's because Peter was notified by Norman Osborn at the last minute that he came last.

After Peter came in, he was pushed to the outermost side by the crowd in the hall and couldn't get in even if he wanted to. Just as Peter yelled Norman Osborn's name to alert him that he had arrived. Suddenly, a man in a black suit walked up to Peter and asked respectfully.

"Sir, are you Peter Parker? Mr. Osborn asked me to wait for you here and take you in."

"Yes, I am Peter Parker." Peter nodded.

After confirming that Peter was the person he was waiting for, the man took Peter and walked around the crowd and came to Norman Osborn who was at the innermost part.

Norman saw Peter coming and shook hands with Peter with a smile, "Peter, long time no see."

Norman Osborn felt that meeting Peter was the luckiest thing in his life. Peter not only helped him cure his family's genetic disease, but also helped him get rid of all those annoying old guys. After gaining control of these shares, Peter did not tell him what to do like those old guys did. He just wanted money but not power.

Peter shook hands with Norman, then looked at the square-faced man in gray clothes standing beside him. If nothing unexpected happens, this person should be Otto Octavius, the future Doctor Octopus. After shaking hands with Peter, Norman gave Otto a look, indicating that he could start the experiment.

Otto received instructions from Norman and followed his wife to the side and came in front of everyone. Looking at so many people in front of him, Otto was excited and a little nervous, but he still greeted everyone with a normal expression.

"Good morning, everyone. My wife and I welcome you all today, but before we begin the experiment I would like to ask you a question. Who lost a bundle of money tied with a rubber band? We only found the rubber band."

In response to Otto's cold joke, everyone around him smiled, but Peter was not among them. He didn't quite understand what was so funny about it. However, Otto's joke was not told in vain. It immediately calmed the originally tense and depressing atmosphere.

Seeing that the atmosphere was no longer so depressing, Otto began to talk about today's business.

"That joke just now was really dull, so let's get to the point. Thank you all for coming today. Today you will witness the birth of a new energy source that is more advanced, safer, pollution-free, and more powerful than Stark Group's Ark Reactor."
