Awakening Part 2

"Dan Garcia, Please stand on the awakening artifact, Close your eyes and feel the mana flow in your body" Zenter said with a inscrutable face. He was obviously concerned about his Awakening.

The Artifact was rectangular in shape with several runes engraved on it and gibberish written on its corner. Zenter was treating the Artifact like an ancient precious gem.

Dan was confident on the outside but nervous on the inside. His mind was filled with countless questions, 'What if I failed the awakening, What if I failed to awaken the destructive specialization'.

After Calming himself up, Dan stood on top of it and closed his eyes. After waiting for a few seconds when nothing happened he opened his eyes. What he saw sent a cold shiver down his spine.

He was floating in an empty void with no sign of light except a 50 meters perfect square cage filled with a strange bright red light. Some energy was leaking out the cage.

It was already on the verge of collapsing. The moment Dan touched the weak cage. It collapsed and countless shards filled the places, each shard blasted and transformed into pure red energy.

Dan saw that the red energy is now trapped inside another barrier but the barrier is much bigger and stronger than before and half of the space was still unoccupied.

Inside the class, Bright red energy was leaking out of the Artifact.

"Destructive Specialization it's the rare destructive specialization" Zenter shouted with a voice full of pride.

Dan opened his eyes with a pleased expression. He was obviously satisfied with the outcome.

"Dan, You definitely inherited the legacy of your renowned magical bloodline, I have high expectations from you, Don't bring me down."

Zenter said with a voice full of expectations.

Now listen Students, When you stand on the awakening artifact, Don't let the dear belittle your talent. Stay focused because nervousness can leads to awakening failure." He said with a sharp tone

Many students got agitated over those words. Magic awakening failure will not only shatter thier dreams but also ruin thier family 's reputation.

"Dan is number one with destructive specialization I wonder if anyone can compete with him" Students started talking about him like he is thier idol "Apart from handsomeness, he is very strong too" Another petite girl said with a cheerful expression.

Dan grinned at Mark with a cruel remark "Looks like someone is going to be injured, Luis Get ready to have fun."

"Yes boss" Luis (aka:fatty) laughed at Mark and Lester "Hey weaklings, Look you's the boss, Did you see that" Dan usually use Luis to mock Mark and Lester to maintain his reputation or indirectly insult them...
