Thunder rumbles...

Mia

- "Mia, she's not here yet"my mum say to me across the door, she's going through the stress of looking out for Jessy my best friend, just so I won't leave home alone.

"I will go fetch her mum"I said, looking over to my mum with a side face,"no you won't, you will have to wait until she gets here"she said meaning it. I groan, I put on my shoes and I sit on the couch, waiting for Jessy.

"I got to go mum"I said moving towards the door,her widen eyes can't go unnoticed,"gosh mum, I'm gonna be 18 soon, I don't need you to baby sit me"I said in a soft tone,my mum look at me nodding,she walk out ahead of me"I will see you off, but make sure you go fetch Jessy"I smiled and without meaning to be childish and emotional I hug her from behind,she patted my hands and I let go.

"Be a good girl that you have always been"my mum said after I have gotten out of the compound,"I promise"I said back to her, and with my bag flinging left and right I ran so fast until I get to Jessy home.

"My mum waited for you to come"I said to Jessy,who have just finished packing her bags"I got up late,I shouldn't have sleep in the first place"she explained and I nodded, urging her to walk fast,a minute walk, some minutes run, that's how we got to the bus.

"Thought you change your mind,Khelan"that's the biggest fool in my class,call me by my last name, I hiss at him and he laughed."can't you be decent for once? I asked walking away from him before he spite me more.

"Students,make sure your bags are arranged properly,get sitted, the journey will start in five minutes" master said and we all check and recheck our bags,making sure we dont lose any.

2:10 in the morning,the bus move and the journey continue,my mum have packed some chips for me, I share it among my friends and while we challenge ourselves vocally we laugh until a long journey seems short.

"He likes you"I almost ask what she, maggie one of my friends meant by that,but then my eyes move to noone but the annoying guy in my class, Michael that's his name, hate to say it.

"Well, I hate him"I said to maggie and she laughed.

I look away disgustfully and I bet I saw him smirked at me, that a**hole, forcing myself to stop thinking about him and everybody else, I lay my head on Jessy lap and in little time I drifted off.

"Who are you"? I shouted panicking, it's a dark place, and that intimidating voice sounds like that of an animal, but he has a broad shoulders but his face seems darker,he won't let me see him.

"Mine" his voice a husky one solemly says,"nonsense"I said moving away from him, but with a movement as a bullet he pin me to him, I see what seems like a fang in his teeth,I screamed and run with so much force,far as I have gone,his voice seems to get nearer "you're mine,mine" confused and scared I shouted"get away from me".

"Mia!Mia" Jessy shook me awake,my head feels heavy and my heart beating fast,"get up we're there"Jessy added picking her stuffs and getting off, almost everyone is out of the bus,I look around seeing a broad figure standing behind a tree a distance from the bus, I feel adrenaline rush all over me, closing my eyes and then opening it back and then the figure is gone.

"Hey Jessy wait for me"I screamed and rushed out.

"Students you are here now,so go to the lobby, your room number will be sent to you, don't forget it's two in a room" master said and we all chorus, even though I am unsettled I still want to believe it is all an illusion.

After what seems like forever a message popped up on my phone screen'Room number 35' it says I stand up at once"who's got room 35"? I asked, definitely not going to the room alone, thankfully one of my good friend got same room with me.

"When are we gonna go to the reservoir" I asked kelly my roommate,"master said we have got today to get settled, tomorrow we will be on the move, and I can't wait"she said and I smiled, assuring myself that nothing is gonna happen.

"Get here Jessy, now please" I pleaded with her on the phone,"give me some minutes"she said and I shriek"now or I will be gone" she hang up on me and I know she's on her way, she's gonna deal with me anyway.

"What's that about"? She asked me,"I, have been seeing things Jessy"I said and she only look at me oddly.

"What you see"? I look at her, I get up from the bed and walk to my bag, I brought out the chips remains"Care for some"I asked and she stand to go."don't go yet, please"I begged "I am going and you know what"?she asked "what"? I inquired.

"You better be gone before I come back"she thumbs up for me and left.

On impulse I walked over to the window drawing the curtains away I looked around and right there,in front of the billboard he stand, and just like I have dreamt "Mine" he muttered as strange as it's,I heard it clearly.

I ran out, dialed Jessy number"gone yet"?she joke over the phone,"your room number"? I asked and she told me,I hurriedly walk towards the room when a message came up on my phone,'Mine' it says.

"No way" I uttered adrenaline flowing through me and my eyes hazy, he must have known me better, he have my number,I thought.

Jessy has got to know, this is not an illusion, that I expected it to be.
