Letting Go of the Sword to Embrace Magic
As soon as Ein returned to the front of the castle, he quickly passed Michelle to the elves as an additional patient. Both she and Lilith were out of mana, meaning they would stay asleep until they recovered at least half of it.
But Michelle did not have the ability to recover her mana. In short, Ein would need to do another mana recovery session with her later. Ein ignored it for now, letting the elves heal everyone's injuries first.
Although he would end up doing it sooner or later, he still had his priorities for now.
Ein returned once more to the dungeon master's room. There, he quickly reflected on what his undoings were.
"The first and foremost is probably leaving the dungeon's protection to manually operated defenses."
