Seven-Headed Hydra

A seven headed hydra raised its heads as it roared loudly. Every single cultivator near it was pushed back.

"HOW DARE YOU INTERRUPT MY SLEEP!?"

Its voice resounded in every single cultivators mind exerting great pressure on them. Some of the lower level cultivator directly fainted.

Only fourteen individuals were unaffected by it. All of them holding great prestige and power as evident by the respect shown by other cultivators.

The hydra raised its heads towards them and opened its mouth. A different attribute was present in each head.

"Is it that bastard who sent you?" It used its mental will to communicate with the human cultivators.

The hydra was thinking of wiping them out in one go.

Its body was as big as a mountain range with seven snake heads.However,unlike normal hydra's its body was distinctly divided into six different regions with six different heads. The seventh head in the middle was yellow in color.

It represented Thunder.

Electric arcs were flashing in middle head's eyes and around its body.

The human cultivators were staring at it in shock. Even the top 'fourteen' were astonished beyond words.

Hydra's were renowned for their physical strength and heaven defying vitality not for Qi manipulation.

But this hydra was not only highly adept at Qi manipulation instead it possessed seven different attributes.

Soon enough the 'fourteen' broke out of their stupor. Greed was evident in their eyes.

Seeing this the lower level cultivators were dismayed. There was no way they would be able to touch the hydra. It was far too valuable not to mention that it was far too strong.

"Haha…" a swordsman dressed completely in green except for his bamboo hat drew his sword. It was six feet long and only four inches wide.

There were no runes or inscriptions on it. It was just a plain sword. As soon as he drew it his aura completely changed. A tyrannical and berserk aura emerged.

He laughed like a madman as he swung his sword like a demon. It was so fast that it only after images. Even after a thousand hits the hydra didn't even flinch.

"What!?" Even if the swordsman only used his physical strength and speed without any martial techniques the hydra should at least be injured.

"Stop wasting your strength,he wouldn't have put up a bounty if it was so easy…" An old man with gentle features dressed in snow white clothes said.

"He's right...if he wasn't unwilling to come out of his star we wouldn't even have a chance to snatch this thing…" A woman dressed in fiery red said as she willed her Qi.

A fiery red lion the size of a mountain appeared out of nowhere. It was completely formed out of fire.

It rushed towards the hydra wrapping itself around its neck as it tried to engulf the Hydra's colossal body.

"Is this the Leon Family's Hell Dragon Technique?" The Hydra asked with its mental power.

"HOW WEAK!!!" It roared with its mental will.

Suddenly seven different rays of light came out from its mouths and combined.

Fire,Water,Earth,Wind,Thunder,Light,Darkness.

To think it would cultivate seven different attributes and it still hadn't maximized it's potential which was obvious from the five other bumps around its body. If it actually formed those five heads as well it would be unrivaled!

Perhaps,only 'he' and existences on his level would be able to deal with it.

All 'fourteen' of them activated their defensive martial techniques.

A faint white barrier appeared around the old man,flickering in and out of existence. But no matter what it didn't disappear withstand the onslaught of seven different attributes.

The woman in red was surprised but soon a blazing inferno enveloped her as she activated her defensive martial art. The swordsman in green was unfortunately unable to defend himself. His barrier was easily broken through. It wasn't that he was too weak instead it was because sword cultivators solely focused on offensive power.

He activated various talismans but to no avail. Eventually,he roared desperately as he clenched his sword tightly and activated its arrays.

A light glow surrounded the moon and before anybody knew it he was in front of the Hydra's head of light.

He swung his sword in a diagonal arc. A giant sword qi was emitted from his sword cleaving the Hydra's head in two.

The holy aura emitting from it was disrupted giving the swordsman a breather and perhaps saving his life.

The ray lasted for two minutes.

Eight…

Only eight survived out of fourteen experts. As for the lower level cultivators. The ones who had left earlier survived and the ones who were still there only ten or so survived,barely hanging on.

The eight survivor's shuddered at this sight. All of them were considering whether they should retreat or not.

It was a pure energy attack and the Hydra had caused them to go all out.

The green swordsman let out a breath as he saw the ray of light dissipating. He turned back only to meet a pair of eyes with a mocking gaze.

"What!?" Before he could even realize how the Hydra had recovered it's head he was swallowed.

Seeing this the rest of them gave up all thoughts of battling it instead deciding to retreat as soon as possible.

"Tell that bastard to visit me by himself!"

Saying this the Hydra sat down again,its heads coiling around its body and it started to sleep again.

At few months later high above in space a pitch black ray of light pierced through the void heading straight towards a blue planet shrouded by various colours.

The ray of light pierced through the heavens heading straight towards the ground. It was on a steady course towards a huge rainbow coloured rock.

It was the Hydra. As soon as the ray of light touched the Hydra it drilled through its body.

At that moment,a searing pain travelled throughout its body. The Hydra couldn't help but scream:

"AHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!"
