Chapter 8: Gotta get those Dragon Balls! (Part 4)

We were on our way to Frypan Mountain when I sensed a big power level chasing a smaller one, I couldn't make out what they were like due to the distance.

"Stop the car!" I told Bulma "Hey what's wrong Goku!" asked Bulma "Someone's in trouble."

"Should I join you?" asked Artoria

"Nah! Its fine I won't take long." I said as I exited the vehicle I then ran off so fast I left an after image behind.

Soon I saw a dinosaur chasing a little girl who I recognized as Chichi. "Power pole Expand and Extend!" The staff did exactly that as *WHAM!* I struck the dinosaur with a single blow killing it.

It seems the power pole can expand as well. Wonder why Goku didn't use that in canon, I tried changing its shape into different weapons but it didn't work.

"Hey are you okay?" I asked her as I gave her my hand and a smile. "Um! Yes I am. Thank you for saving me!" she bowed.

"It's fine I'm Son Goku what's your name?" I asked her with a smile.

"I'm Chichi, it's nice to meet you." She says.

"Again thank you for saving me!" She thanked me as she did a bow.

- Later -

"Hello my name is Chichi." said the little girl as she introduced herself "Hello my name is Artoria Pendragon!" said the princess knight as she introduced herself, Bulma and Oolong the introduced themselves.

"By the way whats a cute girl like you are doing out here in the wild?" I asked her to which she blushed but as she remembered what happened to her, she balled her fist up in rage, said emotion rather visible on her face "Oh I was taking a stroll when that meany showed up!" she said.

"What are you doing here anyway?" she asks "We're heading to Frypan mountain." I then explained to her about the dragon balls while Oolong drove.

Hearing this Chichi told us about the current state of her father's castle. To which Oolong asked "Wait did you say just Daddy?"

"Um! Yes he's my father, the Ox King." Oolong then proceeded to freak out and nearly run away, but a few Pii Pii's later and he came running back.

Soon we finally arrived at the castle, "Damn that's a lot of fire." I said while looking up, I was sweating a bit too.

"Hey Artoria let's-"

"Chichi!" said a voice who looks to be the Ox-King as he stomped his way over to our location.

"Papa!" she ran and hugged her who returned the hug. "Who are these strangers?" asked the Ox-king as he looked towards our little group.

Oolong and Bulma was scared, Oolong hiding behind Bulma. While Artoria just looked on.

"Hello my name is Son Goku, my grandfather Gohan told me a lot about you." introduced myself.

"Wait a minute your really Gohan's grandchild?" he asked I nodded my head and he looked at my power pole. "That's Gohan's power pole!"

After exchanging a few pleasantries we explained our situation and he his. And now so I'm carrying Chichi to Master Roshi's island on my back.

She tried pulling on my tail before, but I currently have resistance to that weakness, not completely but it's enough where I can still put up a fight.

"Are you comfortable?" I asked her as I turned my head to look at her. "Yes thank you!" she said which caused me to smile and her to blush as she cupped her cheeks and look away...seriously.

Seriously What?! Why is it affection?

Soon we arrived at the ocean and I dove down to a dolphin. "Hey excuse do you know where Master Roshi lives." Goku did this in the manga don't know if it'll work here and my energy sensing range isn't that far yet.

And I don't want to fly around sensing for the old man's power aimlessly this is much faster.

"Ah! He lives on a really small island that way." pointed the dolphin. I honesty can't believed that worked. "Thank you!"

We finally arrived at the island and met the old man. The interactions though went similar to canon and we left.

Now I get to see one of the most iconic anime scenes and the Kamehameha wave, nice.

- Later -

"Master Roshi you made it!" said the Ox-King "It's good to see you again, my student though I haven't heard good things about you." said the old man as he looked on toward his student who could only nervously laugh.

"Do you have the Bansho fan Master?" he asked "No but I can still help." said the martial arts master as he walked up and jumped onto a wall.

He then took off his shirt and suddenly his body bulked up. I could sense his power shoot up a bit. Soon he started the chant,

"KA-ME!" I couldn't help but feel giddy this is one of the few most iconic scenes in all of fiction!

"HA-MEH!" Here it comes!

"HAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!" A giant blue beam fired off from his hand as the attack completely decimated the castle.

"Oops! I think I used a bit too much power there." says the oldman "Bulma check the radar if the ball is fine." she did and miraculously the ball was fine.

Soon I went into the rubble and retrieved it. After wards Roshi was talking to the Ox-King. I tried copying what the old man did.

"Ka-me-ha-meh!" I cupped my hands and brought them together at my sides as I began to copy how the Ki moved.

"Don't bother kid it took me fifty years of hard work just to master that move." says Roshi but to his shock.

"HAAAAAAAAA!!!!!" A huge blue beam flew from my hands dwarfing Roshi's attack in size and power.

*BOOOM!!!* The attack completely destroyed a couple mountains even creating a giant crater in its path.

"B-b-b-b-b-but fifty years of hard work!" says the turtle hermit in shock.

"Amazing Goku!" Artoria says in shock. Looking down at my hands I could feel that my power level spiked during the blast.

[You've Learned Kamehameha - (Lvl 1/100)]

"Holy crap! If that hits me I'm dead!" shouts Yamcha in shock as he looked on from his hiding spot.

"Yamcha are we going to give up?" asked Puar. "No way! If I back out now I wouldn't be a man!" says Yamcha determined to get his wish granted, but his legs were shaking as of they were a plate of jelly.

-Later-

It was time to go and before we left I turned around "Hey Chichi wanna come along?" I asked her.

"Me! Are you sure?" she said "Why not plus you can come train with me and Artoria at Master Roshi if you'd like." she seemed to beamed at this.

"I'd love to!" she replied cheerfully.

"Is that okay with you old man!" I said as I turned to Roshi.

"I don't mind." Replied the old man "The more the merrier!"

"Is that okay with you Ox-King?" I asked the giant he nodded "Yes its fine, it kinda reminds me of old times training with Gohan."
