Doing a few stretches he decided he'd continue; he was currently walking through Petalburg Woods.

He managed to teach his Torchick how to utilise ki to power up its attacks and the results were quite amazing. The Prince didn't let his guard down though Kakarot would already teach his Pokemon how to do this and his team would probably be fully evolve by the coming week if not days.

Pikachu schooled his entire team earning me two fossils. I made sure to catch Paras, Zubat, Clefairy, Geodude and Onyx on my way out along with collecting two moonstones.

Leaving the cave I met up with two martial artists, the same ones who could teach mega punch and mega kick.

I had them teach Wukong and Ignis the moves, I loosened my intelligence and got some insight on how to use them as well. I'll teach any of my Pokemon. Though before I left I gave them a bit of a lesson.

"I want both of you to spar with me."

I parried the uppercut by swinging Punch's body to the side and moved to the side dodging Kicks' attack.

And with that I left towards Cerulean city catching a Spearow on the way, before setting up camp and began another session of training before heading to bed.

A few more days of training and I'll finally evolve Ignis. And for Bolt, though while he's keeping up in strength with the other Pokemon, he's the one whose potential is growing slowest, Ivy's potential is low because she's new to the team.

That means he must have a lot of latent potential, is it because he's mid-evolution who needs an item stone to evolve, or is it because of that very reason he's treated as a final evolution? Who knows?

I guess I'll increase his training a bit.

The next day the sun rose and we continued with morning training before heading off and finally reaching Cerulean. I explored a bit before heading towards Nugget bridge. I didn't find Blue though I must be in the lead.

Anyway I sweeped through the entire Nugget Bridge challenge and beat the team rocket member at the end of the bridge before heading towards Route 24 where the Pokemon Abra could be found.

I easily found some I called out to Wukong who I told to blitz and knock it out. It was a simple plan but it worked like a charm.

Now I headed towards Bill's place on Route 25 and changed him back to a human, not before using a bit of hypnosis and squeezing every bit of info about his machine I could out of him.

With that we trained our energy manipulation and rested in the evening then headed out to Misty's gym.

Starmie jumped in the air while spinning it's body then launched itself at Pikachu. Who used Quick attack or Quick dodge as I liked to call it and shifted its body to the side.

Bolt smiled as it coated its tiny fist in electricity and delivered a mighty punch to Starmie's crystal, sending it flying into the water below the pool.

"No way!" Muttered Misty in shock as she looked at Starmie who's floating on the water's surface.

Misty sighed and kept her cool. 'This guy clearly is no pushover. I'll just use one of the stronger Pokemon reserved for the stronger trainers.'

"Go Wartortle!" She released a turtle Pokemon, similar to squirtle if not for its fangs and claws and its wing-like ears along with a fury tail.

This was Squirtle's evolution, Wartortle.

"Use Water-Pulse!"

A white aura surrounded Pikachu as it disappeared, this wasn't ki it was the move quick attack, it easily dodged the attack.

With a smile on its face it grabbed the turtle Pokemon.

"PIKA….CHUUUUUUUUUU!!!"

*BOOM!* A gigantic lightning bolt slammed into the building and then into the two Pokemon.

The Wartortle screamed in pain a few seconds later, a black and smoking Wartortle flopped the ground and knocked out.

"Guess I'm getting that date."

Seeing one of her 3rd to 5th badge Pokemon taken out so easily she was stunned.

Not only that coupled with their higher training in martial arts and perfect energy conservation they won in the end.

Though it did humble them a lot more.

'Those guys were insane!' thought Bolt as it flopped to the floor.

I then headed over to Diglett cave and caught said Pokemon.

I then swapped out Volt, Ivy and Ventus, with Geodude, Abra and Onyx to which I began speed training and levelled them up with wild Pokemon and trainers.

So much so I beat everyone in route 11 after that my boys were ready.

But a small tree blocked my way to the Gym. I wasn't going to waste my time and commanded Ignis to burn it to a crisp.

After spitting on the tree's ashes I made my way in the Gym and defeated the trainers. I had to use my intelligence because even as an adult I didn't get Surge's shitty puzzle.

"So you're that Goku kid I've heard about? Misty and Brock hyped you up as some new trainer who's just started the gym circuit and beat them with a single Pokemon. Let's see how tough you really are! Go Magneton!"

"Subterra you're up." I sent out Geodude who roared ready for battle.

"Magneton use double team then swift!" He ordered the electric Pokemon disappeared as multiple after images appeared who then fired off golden stars at the rock Pokemon Geodude who knows how to sense it's opponents energy easily dodging each attack, using ki to increase it's mobility to dodge while mid air.

Surge's eyes widened as he's never seen a Geodude move like the one he's seeing before him. 'What the hell is this kid teaching his Pokemon!'

Subterra then disappeared and…

With a final blow the Geodude sent the Magneton flying into the wall.
