Chapter 08 A melody with a delightful bite.

"Poor me I can't even eat as I am a soul! This cafe is filled with delicious smells", thought Fiona.

She went back to cottage and came back with a Violin and then played a beautiful Tone and everyone loved it and everybody who heard it came inside and they bought something and sat to listen and like this evening came and both Dililah and her mother was happy.

She returned to the cottage and and soon sat with a guitar on a table and chair with a pad and a pencil near the ocean to write a new song.

"Well let me sing one of my old song to warm up, it's been a while I sang a Solo", said Fiona and start playing a soft tune on guitar.

She was interupted as she heard a painful grunt in nearby rocks in the ocean. She stopped and Walk slowly towards the rocks, only to find a wounded merman and its Llyr! One of the three mermen.

"Oh my! You are a merman!", said Fiona with a surprise as she didn't expected to see one so soon.

"Why'd you stop singing? I was feeling a little better!", said Llyr in pain.

"You're wounded! You need help!", said Fiona worried and came closer and inspected the wound.

"The wound looks a little old, must have gotten it last night?", said Fiona with concern.

"It won't heal that easy as I live under water!", said Llyr grumpily and a little annoyed.

"I know just the trick! But promise you won't tell anyone okay?", said Fiona nervous and hesitant.

"You know a way to heal!?", said Llyr surprised and confused.

She took her hand and extended near his wound which was near stomach and suddenly a gold light began to glow and his wound began to heal instantly and she put away the hand as it got fully healed leaving him shocked.

"All done! Just don't tell anyone okay", said Fiona nervously.

"You! You healed me!", said Llyr surprised and inspecting it.

Emotions flickering in eyes, he locked his eyes with her.

Fiona who now had a better look at him was struck by how handsome he is. Silver grey hair with silver eyes. He had a beautiful and long silver tail and silver shiny pattern were on his head and body.

"I have to go!", said Fiona cheeks flushed and left inside the cottage taking her things.

"Wait!", Llyr said to stop her but she was gone.

She saved my life! She is so pretty up close and her voice is magical, he thought and blushed hard while smiling.

Next Morning woke up earlier as usual and got fresh and as it was a weekend cafe was closed and she found Dililah at her front door.
