Time: 6:00am

Arrrhhh "I groaned slaming my alarm face down on my reading table"

Yeah I slept off while reading placing my alarm next to me knowing I was probably going to fall asleep, I like to be prepared for what's next, either positive or negative.

I'm not an optimist who thinks one day I might get lucky or hope things would work out fine, no. I like to work for things and not rely on luck, because if I have been anything my whole life, it is unlucky.

I've never been lucky, not to some extent I guess but in a way I could say I am lucky because I have two good friends that would do absolutely anything just to see me smile and even tho I don't show it to them, I am super grateful to them for always having my back. I study hard to help them out with topics they do not understand. I also study because I love knowing things, I hate to not know answers in class even tho I don't answer questions in class, I still love to know them.

I live my life one day at a time, I never really had a dream or anything.

I was raised to know I am a worthless life sucker, courtesy of my dad. I killed my mom, she died while having me, and that sure makes me wonder why I was living in the first place, I am a murderer.

No matter how much I wash, I can never wash my mother's blood from my hands.

Dad, quit his job to sit back home and take care of me as an infant, now I am grown and able to take care of myself, he's drinks and gambles all the time.

He's either out getting beaten up by gang members he owes money or he's wasted at the door step.

It's all my fault, if I wasn't born at all dad would still be an architect, he and mom would be happy and in love as ever.

Most times i see him staring at pictures of her, sometimes I hear him calling her name in his sleep.

Then he wakes up to curse the day he made me. I don't blame him, he's hurt because I took the love of his life away from him and also ruined his life.

So now I live one day after the other being as invincible as I can be, working a part time job at a bar where I earn a little bit below enough to keep the family going, at least what's left of it.

But my boss is very nice and helps me out every now and then.

He even got me my phone on my birthday.

I go to school, then work, then home, then study wait for the next day to come, not knowing what it'll bring with it, weather good or bad. That pretty much sums my life up.

6:35am

After getting dressed in my usual baggy jeans and big T shirt, I put my hair in a ponytail position then picked up my backpack shoved all my books on it.

I walked into the living room seeing my dad looking outside

Good morning "I greeted clutching my bag pack"

He ignored me and walked past me holding a beer in his hand

He's in a good mood today "I smiled happily to myself"

Have a nice day "I said normally like it was okay"

I got to where I'll get on a bus to right on time, thankfully I am not late.

I am not used to taking the bus because I always ride with Trevor but he's probably out of town by now and I am sure going to miss him, I don't know about Jennifer.

Walking into the school gates I heard someone yell "Audrey!!!"

Hey wait up "my friend Jennifer said while running towards me"

I stomped my foot on the floor waiting for here to get to me already frustrated by the fact that I know she will surely hug me, it's like her tradition"

Hey girlfriend "Jennifer said hugging me and catching her breath at the same time while suffocating me"

I'm going to choke if you don't let me go now "I smiled"

Oh sorry, didn't mean to snuff life out of you just yet "she laughed"

"Classic Jennifer, she has a smart mouth. She's like my rock, more of our rock really. Mine and Trevor's.

Although She insults Trevor the most, I have no idea why they're always at each other's throat. I always have to get them to stop fighting most times. But it's always petty fights, never serious. Sometimes I feel like fighting makes them feel alive. But I'll never know what's going on in their head" in the past at least, too bad I won't get to see them fight anymore

So what did you do over the weekend since you refused to hang out with me "Jen asked"

Nothing really, just work work work and more work "I breathed out"

Oh, did you even have time to study? "Jennifer said throwing a glance at me"

Yeah I made up for it last night "I said"

Okay good and how is your dad? "she asked"

He's great "I smiled remembering how he didn't yell at me or say anything mean to me today"

Did he tell you that? "Jennifer asked again"

Not in so many words detective Jennifer "I said trying to get her to drop the topic, she has never been a fan of my dad ever since she found out by chance that he's not very friendly"

Whatever dummy "She shrugged"

Hey Audrey, your jean look so fly, I might get blown away "Sandra my mortal enemy said clutching her cheat like her heart was about to fall out"

Whaoooo !!! Nathaniel her ex boyfriend and everyone in the hallway yelled drawing everyone's attention to me

Don't be mean Sandra, Audrey's jean is perfect for her, even tho it stinks "he said holding his nose"

I was about to walk right out when Jennifer said "So does your breath Nathaniel, did you even brush your pit hole garbage dispenser today, I mean your mouth by the way ? "Jennifer shot right back"

Whaooooo !!! Everyone yelled laughing

Now get out of my way cockbrain "Jennifer said pulling me like her little sister brushing past Nathaniel. Funny enough we weren't always enemies, me, Sandra and Nathaniel used to be good friends when we were younger but for some reason i still don't know, they both stopped being friends with me, probably because they got popular.

Nathaniel is the best basketball player SMART HIGH SCHOOL has got and Sandra is the cheerleading captain.

Makes sense why they dated, people say they broke up because they both cheated on each other repeatedly then figured out they didn't love each other. According to Shirley the school's media.

Not that I care about that anyways.

This is my last year in high school, I'm way past all of that drama, I have survived without drama so far, I can do it for a little longer.

What the hell was that Audrey? How many times have I got to tell you that you need to speak up for yourself huh ? " Jennifer said then walked away angrily "

Oh great my big little mom "I thought to myself" then walked into the class too waiting for first period to start

Jennifer didn't talk to me till lunch.

Let's go get some food "I heard Jennifer say behind me"

I thought you were ignoring me "I said smiling"

Just shut up and follow me "she walked away again"

After getting food, we went to our usual spot then placed our tray on the table, Jennifer sat opposite me" but said nothing which was weird because she always has something to say.

I didn't see Nathaniel in class today, I guess he had to go cry at home from you shushing him like that "I smiled trying to start a conversation"

He wasn't the only one who wasn't in class "Jennifer said plainly"

Sandra was in class "I replied taking a bite from my food"

I'm not talking about her "Jennifer replied taking a bite too"

Then who? "I asked"

Trevor, Trevor wasn't in class today "she said dropping her food back in the tray and breathing out like it had been eating her up all day"

Oh Trev ? He moved, you didn't know ? "I said taking another bite"

What do you mean he moved ? "Jennifer sounded shocked"

His dad took a job in Vegas, so they moved to Vegas.

Why else do you think I didn't ride with him to school today, i always ride with him.

How come you didn't know ? Did you guys have another fight ? "I was surprised"

Uhmm i should get to class "she said "

But lunch isn't even over yet and you barely touched your food, are you okay? "I asked worried"

Yeah I am, I just need to get something done "she forced a smile" I could tell something was wrong with her tho I just couldn't tell what it was.

And the day went on like that with Jennifer not saying much which was unusual because I was always the one who didn't talk much.

4:35pm

Fuck !!! Who are you ? How did you survive that fall Mann!! And is that gold all over you ? Wtf !!! "I turned to see someone moving closer to me"

What the hell did Kara do "I thought to myself rhetorically"

What the hell man, you're literally glowing right now, is that actual gold ? Who the hell are you ? Are you even human ? Oh my God I am so freaking out right now, who the fuck are you? Do you even speak ? "The person kept ranting"

Prince? "He repeated then started laughing like I said something amusing"

What answers man, you just said you got here through a portal, you're probably not even from earth, if you go out there right now looking like that wearing a robe that looks like a skirt.
