Do you like him?

After classes ended, it was already 6PM. 

Jiang Shiyi takes out her phone and wonders what Ye Nanchen is doing. "At this time, he should be on break right?" she thought to herself and texted him. 

She sits by the bench as she takes out a snack to eat while waiting for Ye Nanchen. 

Five minutes passed by, and she already ate her third cookie. She takes a little yawn and checks her phone. 

"This busy?" she mumbles to herself and then gets up from the bench and starts walking back to her dorm. 

About fifteen minutes later, she got back to her dorm. 

"What took you so late today?" Lu Zhenzhen asks. 

The other two roommates of Jiang Shiyi are Lu Zhenzhen and Sang Mi.

Both Jiang Shiyi and Qiao Yanxi majored in journalism. Lu Zhenzhen majors in medicine, and Sang Mi majors in art. 

Jiang Shiyi sighs and then sits down at her chair. 

All three of them look at each other and then circle around Jiang Shiyi. 

"Did something happen?" Sang Mi asks. 

Jiang Shiyi told them what happened, and Qiao Yanxi quickly came up with a conclusion. 

"He's 100% jealous!" she says loudly with confidence. 

All three look at her seriously, especially Jiang Shiyi. 

"How could that be!"Jiang Shiyi quickly denies it. 

All these years, Jiang Shiyi and Ye Nanchen's relationship was more like an older brother and little sister thing. She can't remember seeing anything else besides that. 

"Why can't it not be! Let me tell you---" Qiao Yanxi starts talking about her knowledge about guys and 10 years of experience from watching tv dramas. 

"I think Yanxi could be right," Lu Zhenzhen added after hearing Qiao Yanxi's explanation. 

All four of them have never dated before, but Qiao Yanxi seems to have the most experience and knowledge about guys. 

"Forget about him for now. Let me ask you. Do you like him?" Qiao Yanxi asks. 

Jiang Shiyi never expected a question like that. The three of them look at her as they wait for an answer. 

Jiang Shiyi starts thinking… 

When she was 5, Ye Nanchen was 9. She remembered that she would also follow him around and call him gege. She suddenly remembered something, and face started to turn red. 

"Why is your face red?" Lu Zhenzhen asks and touches her forehead. 

Both Qiao Yanxi and Sang Mi laugh, "she's blushing." 

Jiang Shiyi quickly denies it, but they wouldn't stop laughing. 

"If you guys keep laughing, I won't talk to you guys anymore!" she says with a little angry tone. 

They quickly stopped laughing, but covered their mouths as they tried to hold it in. 

Suddenly, Jiang Shiyi's phone rings. 

"Is it him?" Qiao Yanxi asks with a slight smirk. 

Jiang Shiyi gives her a short glare, and then picks up the phone. 

"Hello," Jiang Shiyi says. 

"Shiyi, I just came back from training, and saw the message just now. Did something happen?" He asks with concern. 

"Hhum? I just wanted to ask if you're free. I'll treat you with Tan Ji! But since you just came back, we can go next time!" Jiang Shiyi says. 

"Have you eaten yet?" Ye Nanchen suddenly asks. 

Jiang Shiyi didn't think much and shook her head, "I haven't yet."

Ye Nanchen smiles at the other end, "I haven't eaten too." 

For a split second, Jiang Shiyi could tell that Ye Nanchen's voice sounded a little different than usual. "Uhmm, do you want to go out and eat now?" Jiang Shiyi asks him. 

"Sure! I'll go pick you up," Ye Nanchen says and they both ended the call. 

Once Jiang Shiyi ended the call, she noticed all three of her curious roommates all looked at her. 

"I'm 99.9% sure he likes you!" Qiao Yanxi says. 

Even though Jiang Shiyi didn't put the call on speaker, they could hear most of it. 

"Don't mess around, Yanxi. It's just a regular dinner like any normal day," Jiang Shiyi says, but she could feel her heart thumping a little.
