A Determination For Tomorrow

Axel opened his status window and saw the increase in his attributes. After fighting through various challenges and leveling up.

Axel Status:

Level: 35

STR: 57

AGI: 58

END: 56

INT: 33

Axel smiled faintly, feeling the new strength flowing through his body. Significant improvements in strength, agility and physical endurance provide greater confidence to face the challenges ahead.

"This is the result of hard work and struggle," thought Axel.

There was no point if he continued to stay on the 49th floor because he realized that this floor was not respawning too many monsters. Maybe this was caused by the effect of 'Ground Zero,' or maybe it was the result of what Gorgolith had done, and finally, maybe it was also because he always went hunting on the 49th floor.

Axel understands that to continue growing and becoming stronger, he must face new challenges. The next goal was to head to the 50th floor, which was known as the place where the boss figure was. This floor is also the connecting passageway between the 49th and 51st floors, making it a crucial point in Axel's journey.

With determination, Axel began to move towards the large door that led to the 50th floor. Every step felt heavy but filled with determination. He knew that the 50th floor would present a much greater challenge than any he had ever faced before.

Arriving at the large door, Axel stopped for a moment to prepare himself. He checked his supplies, making sure his weapons and potions were in good condition, and controlled his breathing to remain calm. "This is the real test," he thought. "I have to get through this to move forward."

With strong hands, Axel pushed the large door open. The sound of the creaking door echoed in the hallway, giving off a tense feel that further added to the tension in his heart. When the door opened completely, a dark and mysterious view of the 50th floor unfolded before the eyes.

After a few moments of walking along the existing path, Axel was faced with a door that was quite large and very high. Awe mixed with wariness filled his mind as he stood before the door.

"Why is the door open?" Axel muttered, feeling amazed when he saw the large door slightly open.

He slowed his steps, trying not to make any noise that might attract attention. The large door that was slightly open raised various possibilities in his mind. Could it be that someone else has entered? Or maybe something is coming out from inside?

Axel sharpened his senses, trying to hear any sound from inside the room behind the door. He heard a sound that made the hairs on the back of his neck bristle—the sound of flesh being ripped apart was echoing inside. The sound was so real and terrifying, it made his heart beat faster.

"What's going on in there?" Axel thought worriedly. He knew that whatever was making that sound, it was most likely very dangerous.

With bated breath, Axel pushed the door a little wider, trying to see more clearly into the room without attracting attention. Inside the hall, a shocking scene unfolded before him. In the middle of the large hall, he saw the figure of a monster that was around two meters tall with gray skin.

"W-why is he here?" Axel muttered in surprise when he saw the monster's figure. Quick as lightning, Axel grabbed his left arm, clearly remembering the moment when the monster slashed his arm in the previous battle.

The monster, with its sharp teeth stained with blood and red eyes burning with hatred, was eating the body of the boss of the 50th floor. 'Zephyrak' is a boss figure who is quite well known for his cruelty and ferocity in fighting. He knows no mercy towards anyone who dares to step in his path. This monster has claimed the lives of many brave adventurers, making it the feared ruler of the 50th floor of this dungeon.

However, what makes him even more frightening is his slippery intelligence. Zephyrak has extraordinary fighting instincts, able to anticipate his opponents' moves and plan strategies to defeat them. the monster made sure that no one could get past the 50th floor without confronting it first.

Axel tried to control his breathing which was starting to become irregular. "This monster… he shouldn't be here. Is this why he couldn't be found on the 49th floor?" he thought. He realized that the existence of this monster was a huge threat.

But, things are different now. The figure of a Razorback Troll—a unique monster that has long disappeared from the 49th floor—is eating the boss of the 50th floor, Zephyrak. Currently, the Razorback Troll is wildly eating the body of Zephyrak, who is known as the ruler of the 50th floor.

This scene was surprising and unexpected, illustrating how ferocious and dangerous the Razorback Troll was. This monster not only hunts, but also consumes the power of its opponents, making them even stronger and deadlier. The blood and flesh of the 50th floor boss still stuck to the Razorback Troll's lips added to the horror of this situation.

Axel, who watched all this from a distance, felt a mixture of fear and confusion. This scene made it clear that the challenges he faced were much greater than he had imagined. The presence of the Razorback Troll on the 50th floor was a bigger threat than the Zephyrak.

However, Axel knew that he couldn't back down. If he wanted to progress and reach the next floor, he had to face and defeat this Razorback Troll.

"Damn, why does it have to be at a time like this..." Axel muttered in an annoyed tone. His right hand which was holding a dagger was shaking uncontrollably. His body reacted instinctively to the memory of the horror caused by the monster eating its prey.

Flashes of past memories flooded his mind, when the Razorback Troll attacked him and almost took his life. The wound on his arm felt painful again, as if it had just happened. Axel swallowed hard, trying to calm himself and suppress the fear that threatened to paralyze him.

"Focus, Axel. You have to stay focused," he whispered to himself, trying to suppress the shaking and focus his thoughts on the enemy in front of his eyes.

He knew that fighting the Razorback Troll was not easy, especially in a mental state disturbed by past trauma. But Axel also knew that he had no other choice. If he withdrew now, not only would he be in danger, but all the efforts and struggles he had endured would be in vain.

With his breath starting to stabilize, Axel turned his gaze towards the Razorback Troll which was still busy with its meal. He tried to assess the situation and look for weaknesses that he could exploit. Every second passed like a needle pricking, but he knew that he had to wait for the right moment.

"This isn't just about surviving. This is about proving that I'm stronger than my fears," thought Axel.

Slowly, Axel began to plan in his mind. He had to use every skill he had, taking advantage of every advantage he could get. Carefully, he began to move, making sure his every step did not attract the attention of the terrifying monster.

With a tighter grip on his dagger, he prepared to launch an attack that could determine his fate. This final battle with the Razorback Troll on the 50th floor will determine the long and difficult journey he has been on.
