I'm His Only Love
When Audra's mum dies, she goes back home, even knowing she would finally have to face his first love, Chris – who’s also his foster brother. After what appears to have been a pretty painful breakup, they’ve been avoiding each other over the past 11 years. But will the pain of the loss bring them back together? Or would the bad memories be too much? The journey from here only gets more eventful, when her mum leaves a surprise condition on her will that would turn Audra’s life around.
AFTER THE BARBEQUE
We came back to the garden with the baby, Kyle had already set up a baby chair on the side of the table, but instead of leaving him there, Kyle came directly to grab him.
"There's my boy!" He said walking towards Claire directly with his arms open. "And my boy's beautiful mama" He winked at her while he took John from her arms and she smiled shyly, a look that made me see teenage Claire in her expression.
I went to sit beside Chris again while they got everything set up for John.
"He's a proud papa" Chris smiled at me.
"That he is, they seem like wonderful parents." I answered.
There was a longing look in Chris' eyes and I wondered if it was because he saw in them a happy family he never had or because he was thinking about having one of his own. He never seemed too eager to have children, and I think, deep down, he was always scared to be a bad father, but who knows, we're older now…
