Amanda

On Saturday.....

By the time Jeremy and I arrived at Keisha's beach house, it was already packed with different kinds of people you could imagine.

It was a typical wild party. I'm judging based on movies I've watched.

This is the first time I'm going to a party this wild with no supervision from my parents. Tyler and Harry are on their way coming.

I wasn't used to this scene at all. People were sprawled out all over the place doing immoral things.

Some were making out on the couches. On one side, strippers were dancing for guys who were spraying them dollars with money guys.

In the kitchen, people were smoking all sorts of drugs and drinking. Others were dancing half naked.

The guys at this party didn't look like the ones at my school. They looked much older and more experienced. They're probably the college guys Janet and Keisha were talking about

"Hey, I wanna hang out with some friends" Jeremy said

"No problem"

"You'll be fine on your own?"

"Yeah"

"Okay babe"

He kissed me on the cheek then left to meet a bunch of jocks in the kitchen who were smoking

Wait.. Jeremy doesn't smoke, does he?

I got my answer when I saw him light a cigarette before smoking it

I guess there's a lot I don't know about my boyfriend who I've practically been dating for years.

I looked to my right and saw Jania. She rolled her eyes at me then continued talking to a guy. I didn't even know she was friends with Keisha..

Later that evening on the day of the fashion show, Mrs smith called her back to model. She didn't even apologize for what she did to me. Anyway its all good.

I stood there awkwardly not knowing what to do. What do I do at a party like this? I have a boyfriend and I don't smoke or drink

"Hey babe" Keisha said coming up to me

She was holding a red cup in her hand and a cigarette in the other.I didn't know she smoked as well.

"Hey" I hugged her tightly "Happy Birthday"

"Thanks baby"

I handed her the present I got. Even though Tyler is coming, I still had to get her a present. She dropped her cup on a nearby table so she could open it

"Ooohhh what's this?"

She tore open the wrapping paper and revealed the contents.

"You got me fucking pills!" She hugged me excitedly "thank you"

Yup I got her beat pills. I know she loves music loud just the way she is. She's been dying to have one.

"Where's Janet?" I asked her

"Over there"

She pointed to Janet who was pinned to the wall making out with a guy

"Oh" I turned back to her "so you smoke?"

"Yeah, any problem?"

"No not at all. I didn't even know"

"Don't look at me like that"

I raised my eyebrow in confusion

"How?" I asked

"Like I'm irresponsible'

"I didn't even say anything" I laughed lightly

"Your eyes did. You act like you're better than everyone"

I really hope the reason Keisha is talking like this is because of the alcohol

"No I don't"

"Yes you do but guess what?"

"What?"

"I know something you don't. I know how to keep a guy interested"

"What are you talking about?"

She nudged her head at Jeremy who was holding a girl by her waist in the kitchen. She was whispering in his ear and he was laughing

He just left my side ten minutes ago and he's doing this

I walked over to them in anger

"What's going on?" I questioned

He pushed the girl away from him

"Sorry babe, we were just talking" Jeremy slurred

"Who the hell are you?" The girl asked in disgust

"I'm his girlfriend”

"Girlfriend?" She asked him in shock "You just told me you were single"

Oh my God

"Is that what he said?" I asked her

"Yeah, we were even planning on going upstairs to have some alone time"

"Wow"

"No babe she misunderstood me' Jeremy said

I walked away before he could say another word. I didn't know where I was going but I know I need to get out of here

Harry

"You'll be fine on your own yeah?" Tyler asked as we entered

"How old do you think I am? Five?"

"Be careful, I'm gonna go find Amanda"

"Yes dad"

He walked away. I scanned the place for any sign of Amanda or her friends. I finally saw her and a girl arguing in the kitchen but I couldn't hear what they were arguing about. Jeremy was in the middle of it. She looked very upset.

She stormed out angrily. I could see tears in her eyes. What the hell could have happened? The party just got started

I followed her quickly to make sure she was okay

Not like I care about her or anything, she's just my friend's sister and a girl I'd love to fuck. I have to look out for her

She ran to the balcony and broke into tears holding the rail

"Hey" I said standing beside her

"Harry'' she sobbed

Next thing I know she grabbed me in a hug, crying hysterically on my shoulder

For a moment I was stuck, I didn't know what to do. I've never comforted a woman before

Hell, I've never comforted anyone in my life. I've never cared about anyone that much

This was foreign to me. I ran my fingers through her hair trying to soothe her

I suddenly had a feeling of protection towards her. If Jeremy is the cause of this, I swear he's dead

"What happened?" I asked

She pulled away from me but still held onto me

"I caught Jeremy with another girl. He was holding her. He told her he was single and they made plans to go upstairs to a room to be alone"

That's it. He's dead

"I'm sorry" I didn't know what else to say

"Everyone judges me. I have no friends. I thought I did but.. "

She broke down again. I held her as she cried

"You're a beautiful girl with a great personality. Anyone who can't see that is stupid" I told her

"Thank you" she sobbed

I wiped away her tears with my thumb. God, she's still gorgeous even when she cried

"Let's get you out of here" I said

She put her hand in mine as I led her through the hallway filled with drunk dancing people . Tyler caught sight of us and walked over to us

"Why are you crying?" He asked her in panic

"I'll explain later. Please she wants to go home"

"Meet me up front. I'll go get the car".

"Thanks man"

He left to go get the car

"Babe" a voice behind us said

It was Jeremy. He tried to talk to Amanda but I stood in front of her

"Get away from her" I said

"Back off man, that's my girlfriend"

"Was your girlfriend" Amanda said from behind me "its over"

"Come on babe" he whined

"What? You were gonna cheat on me. In the same place I was in. You don't even respect me!"

"I was drunk and high you gotta understand. I'm sorry"

"You're sorry you got caught"

"It wasn't what it looked like. I was just leading her on"

"Yeah right" I scoffed

The more she cried the more angry I became.

"You know nothing about me" he said

"I know you're a two timing bastard"

I may not care about women feelings but I know its wrong to cheat. I love girls that's why I don't date. I'm not ready to commit that's why I haven't had a girlfriend.

I hate men that cheat. I hate how my mum ended up because of my step dad

"Its okay Harry let's go" she said pulling me out of the house. We stood outside the building waiting for Tyler to pull up. She's lucky we came along if not she'd be stranded

"Thanks for sticking up for me" she said

"No problem. Look"

I cupped her face in my hands and stared at her in the eyes as I spoke

"You're a great person, don't let anyone tell you different. If they don't like you, fuck them. You don't need anyone but yourself"..

"Thanks"

In that moment as the stars danced across the sky and the moon glistened in her beautiful brown eyes was when I knew I might have little feelings for my best friend's sister
