" Very well. " Miyuki replied watching the brunt bitch being carried away.

Walking past Commanders charred skeleton it turned to dust. It wasn't the worst thing to happen the to him, at least now he will be in charge as it should have been. Tinez thought delightedly.

The ground was still iced from when they had entered before, Miyuki had insisted on it so her robe like dress didn't get dirty from the mud. Naturally Commander and him didn't object to such a high ranking Demoness. It was a pain to walk on his paws weren't made for walking on ice weren't. Tinez felt foolish carefully walking on the ice as if he were a pup learning to walk. Lucky it didn't seem as Lady Miyuki was paying any attention to him. She walk graceful on the ice. Yet again it would be only natural for an Ice Demon to walk on ice.

It was just a dirt tunnel, he would have never thought a high ranking Demoness who ever step foot in a poor territory like his. But they did have some promises youngsters who had a talent for magic.

As they reached the end of the tunnel they made there way though the temple. The walls where striped if there once beautiful tapestries and the gold that decorated the pillars.

"Would you excuse me for a moment." Lady Miyuki said. Walking over to the alter of Tira Ras.

" Will you meet me at the House then?" Tinez asked. He didn't want to stay here as a child him and his family use to worship the Goddess, when the temple was still holy ground. But after the demons took over the grounds and turned the temples underground in to a prison and added the torture room it no longer felt like a place to visit the Goddess he had once loved. He felt unwell here mostly because he let it happen.

Outside of the temple they treated the people. There wasn't enough space inside. All those who weren't critically injured. Others where only corpses. Even after a week there were still people missing or underneath rubble. Needing treatment. This is another shame he must live with. Denying his people their Justice.

Getting into his carriage. He rode though the ruins that where once the city. The whole city was full of people grieved for the ones they lost. Shrines to those who had died decorated the devastation. Angered eyes watched him passed.

His Manor was outside if the city so lucky it was safe from the magic. The Erst's family house looked abandon in desperate need of repair.

"When Lady Miyuki gets here bring her to the office." Tinez told his wife as he stepped out of the carriage.

"Of course. More reports have come." His wife said.

Making his way to his office he wondered if there was anyway her could have prevented it perhaps more portals around the city and in the forest. But with the demons armies General now dead it wouldn't be easy to give them orders. The army that was once his was now under the control of the Denon King, It was his way if keeping those who could turn coat. To say he had power was a fool.

The reports where upsetting how could one spell effect so many. Magic wasn't popular in this part of the land. There was only one Magus who lived in his land he was the one who had told him that a spell was responsible for the disaster. He had also found the caster. The spell horrified him so much he quit being the Magus of the Erst family. The spell horrified Tinez as well. It cause the people to go mad. Killing, raping, mutilating each other as well as destroying everything around the in all manner of odd acts. With there super strength. No one had a place to hide, fights broke out all across the city. The day had started off peaceful. Demon and non- humans living together. A dream of his father that he had made into reality. His father would be ashamed of he saw the city now. That succubus will pay. He may not be in the same class as demons in this country but he was still a lord.

Some one was at his door.

"Enter " He yelled from his desk. The desk was littered with paperwork and reports compared to the rest of the empty room. It didn't look like a office of a Lord. It was more like a room with a desk and two chairs.

"Hello again Lord Tinez. We have much to discuss." Lady Miyuki said. When ever she entered a room the temperature dropped forcing Tinez to put on a coat.

"Yes we do." Timex said chattering as he gesturing to a chair it wasn't the nicest but he wasn't the richest so it would have to due for now.

"As I have said I wish to take your prisoner, she would be a great addition to the Kingdom's might." Lady Miyuki said.

"Yes you have made that very clear. However you where not here when she attacked. The people are suffering and do not know why this had happened to them. They need justice." He said trying to keep his temper in check.

" Yes. Of course your justice. Blame the dryad." She said coldly.

" Why on Tira Ras love would I due that?. She was also a victim." He said he was there when Commander had interrogated her.

"We broke the charm she was under. And she told us everything. With her testimony I will execute the demon. I can not like you take her." He said now he was getting ready for a fight he knew he couldn't win.

"Every well. This only proves how unfit you are to be a lord." Miyuki said freezing his heart.

"This. This is why we shouldn't have non humans in power. They're far too emotional." She muttered to herself. What was supposed to be a fun outing was now going to be work.
