'I Will Never See Him Again.'

She went to pick up William from the Salvatore House in the evening. She was going to have dinner with Stefan and Elena.

"Hi!" Stefan opened the door,

"Hi…"

"Uh-Oh…" Stefan stopped her, "Someone seems sad…"

"Did you hear about Aimee Bradley?"

"Yes…..I think I did!" Stefan took the bottle from her hand.

"Then, why didn't you say anything?" She asked, "Why didn't anyone say anything about it?"

"Uh….." Stefan looked away.

"Obviously, Klaus killed her!" Caroline exclaimed.

Stefan let go of the bottle, and then quickly caught it, Elena dropped a bowl.

"Uh….Who told you that?" Elena asked.

"Uh….What?" Stefan jumped.

"Klaus came by the house last night...." Caroline started to say.

"He did what?" Stefan was very upset.

"And he made the whole confession." Caroline told them, "He said he killed her because she was a threat to me...."

She pulled a chair, and Stefan and Elena followed.

"What a load of bullshit!" Damon was already seated on the table.

"Damon…." Caroline said sharply, "Baby in the house."

"Fine…." he scowled.

Caroline went home with her son, and the promise that she will never see Klaus Mikaelson ever again.

Caroline put William to bed, and she was in the living room, with a coffee on the table, and loads of work to do.

The door knocked. She walked over to the door,

"Klaus….If that is you, I swear I am going to...….."

She opened the door,

"Oh, Elijah…..It's you?!" She got out of the way, and let him in. "What are you doing here?"

"I need to talk to you." He said, "Can we talk?"

"Of course," She followed him inside. "But if it is anything about defending Klaus.....I am sure it cannot convince me to ever see him again."

Elijah sighed,

"That's why I am telling you….." He said softly, "Help him."

"Elijah…." She dropped her pen, "I did listen to you, and I did try, he helped me, and it was selfless, and I was happy....I was willing to give in the last time he asked me to go out with him."

"Really?" Elijah looked surprised.

"Yes…..But he comes over, and tells me he killed someone for no reason…" She said exasperatedly.

She was so upset.

"He did it for your baby." Elijah decided to get to the point.

"What?" Caroline stood up. "How is that possible?

"Your son is supernatural…." Elijah broke it to her.

"How is this possible?" Caroline was now moving around the house, "I haven't seen any symptoms…."

"How do you know?" She asked Elijah, sitting down again.

"It happened two days ago…." Elijah told him. "When your son, William was in Salvatore's house…."

"What?" She stood up again. "What happened?"

"Tyler Lockwood's girlfriend, Aimee Bradley was made to kill William by the witches, so they can have Niklaus where they want him."

He paused for a second.

"On your bad side…." He told her, "So, you will kill him for them..."

"Oh my God…" She sat down again, her head in her hands.

"They are manipulating you." Elijah told her, "So, you would kill him, or at least step back from him, which will render him vulnerable."

"And that is exactly what I did."

She exhaled sharply,

"So, how does it link to Will?" She asked. "What does Will have to do with all of it?"

"William isn't known by the witches or the other side…...but if they do know…..they will be sure to use him against you, and him."

"Oh…" Caroline whispered.

"And Aimee Bradley was just making a mark because she knows you, and it is a good thing Klaus killed her or the witches would have known."

"Oh…..My God…." Caroline looked extremely upset, "I kicked him out. I threw him out of the house…."

"Can you just let Niklaus back in your life?" Elijah asked. "Because…..he'll actually start killing people for no reason…..!"

Caroline nodded.

"OMG…..I feel so awful."

"You can fix it, Caroline." Elijah got up, "And don't tell Klaus that I told you…."

"Why?"

"Please." Elijah was going out the corridor, "And….I'll let myself out."

Caroline was now confused. She just couldn't do anything. She tried to go back to her work. But she couldn't. She tapped her pen on the table, and clicked, irritated.

She took a baby monitor, and opened the package, she bought it, but never used it because of the vampire hearing.

She took it out of the box, put it in William's nursery, and the other one in her pocket. She locked the house, and headed outside.

She headed to the Mikaelson House, she knocked on the door,

"Hello again, Elijah…." She said, "I just can't take it anymore....Klaus here?"

Elijah smiled,

"Niklaus.....!" He shouted.

"What? Elijah…" They could hear him come down the stairs. "The whole neighborhood can hear you…...Do you have to shout…" He grumbled as he came down.

"Someone here to see you…" Elijah said as Klaus came in the corridor. He was holding a paintbrush. He put it down on the table.

"Hello, Caroline…" He said stiffly.

"Can we talk?" She asked, sheepishly.

"Okay." Klaus came outside, Elijah went inside and shut the door, Klaus came outside.

"What happened?" He asked. He was a little withdrawn.

"Klaus….." She was standing in front of him. "I am sorry, I didn't know the whole story, and I was...…..i didn't know what to...." She was flustered. "Why the hell didn't you say any…"

Klaus didn't want to hear the rest of it. He kissed her.

After a few seconds, Caroline pulled away.

"Caroline…" He held her shoulders,

"I'm sorry, Klaus….really!"

"I don't care!" He kissed her again. "Not anymore."

She pulled away.

"Oh my God, It's happening!"

She held his arm for support, tears welled up in her eyes, Klaus could see the pain in her eyes. Sometimes he wished he could take that pain from Caroline. But he knew Siengura Wolves were like Caroline, noble and selfless.

She screamed, her eyes were filled with tears, she was experiencing agonizing pain. She fell to the floor,

"Ahh…!" She screamed.

"Caroline….!" He was looking at her, scared.

She was shivering with pain.

"Will…" Her eyes amber and gold, filled with tears. "He's alone…..Go to him."

"But...you…" He tried to object, "You need my he…"

"Please!" Caroline yelled. "Go….He needs you. He's alone."

"Love...But!" Klaus held her hand.
