CHAPTER 5

After a few minutes, Leorio came stumbling and panting, and kurapika too looked a little tired

"Hey, kurapika and oreo.", I greeted Kurapika but teased Leorio.

"Oi brat, name's leorio not what u called.", yelled leorio.

"Yeah yeah, now ur not looking tired.", I replied giggling.

"Is this our destination?", asked kurapika.

"not yet", replied gon.

"Hm, I see.", said kurapika.

"The measly wetlands also known as swindler's swam we must cross it to reach the 2nd phase. This place is a home to variety of truly unique animals many of which are crafty veracious creatures who deceive and feast on human flesh so please, be very careful if ur deceived u'll surely die. These wetlands creatures are not meant to be underestimated for they will use every trick in the book to trick their prey. So, please follow me closely so u won't be deceived.", informed Satotz.

"If we know they are gonna deceive us who will fall for it?", smartypants leorio said.

"Don't fall for it.", shouted a guy.

"Listen, didn't I just say we won't?", asked leorio to that guy.

"Don't let them fool you he's lying. That man's an imposter a total fraud I'm the real examiner u got it.", said the supposed examiner.

Some applicants began to question who was the real examiner.

"I'll prove it look at this" Then dragged a dried-up monkey-like body and said "This is a man-faced ape from the measly wetlands who loves the taste of human flesh but their limbs are really long and thin so they are actually quite weak that's why they disguise themselves as humans they trick us into following them in the wetlands and work together with other creatures and kill and eat us.", that man said.

Then all of a sudden three playing cards flew in the direction of that man and instantly killed him and the other three went to Satotz but he caught them.

"I see I see~ (Hisoka's bg music cue) that settles it then so u are the real one. The examiners are hunters each is hand-picked by the exam committee to do this job without pay anyone who is a hunter can deflect my attack and quite easily I might add.", said Hisoka.

"I shall take that as a compliment but should u attack one more time then u'll be immediately disqualified. Is that clear?", asked Satotz.

"of course", replied Hisoka with a smirk.

"From where did he take out his cards I don't see any pockets.", I mumbled but killua heard it.

"Who knows", He replied.

"We can't let our guard down.", said Killua.

"Yeah", both me and gon replied. Then we started running again.

"Oh, great it's another marathon.", complained leorio.

"yeah, but now it's on wetlands and it's even more tiring", said kurapika.

Then we started running and following the examiner.

"Hey, Gon Mia let's move up to the front.", said Killua.

"Right the last thing we want is to lose sight of the examiner.", replied Gon.

"I just wanna put a little distance between hisoka and us. Staying too close is dangerous I can smell it.", said killua.

"Smell huh? I don't think he smells." Said gon.

"Gon he meant figuratively.", I said laughing at him.

"Oh, I see", Gon said rubbing the back of his neck.

"Hey, leorio kurapika killua said we should move up to the front.", said gon.

"Came down don't u feel the tension?", Killua asked.

"You idiot if I could reach the front I'd be there", said Leorio.

"Go ahead we'll meet u there", said kurapika.

"Come on Gon let's go they will come don't worry.", I reassured him.

Then we started running ahead.

"I can hear people screaming all around us.", said gon.

"That's why we need to be careful.", said Killua.

"We haven't seen the guys in a while I just hope they're safe.", worryingly said Gon.

Then we all stop for a moment as we felt weird then we fell into something slimy.

"eww eww eww I'm smelly now.", I grimaced while smelling myself.

"how did we get out of that frog's stomach?", asked Gon.

"It's this." Said Killua showing the can that Tompa giving to all newbies.

"Oh, I Have it too guess it didn't like its taste.", I said

"I could have escaped by myself.", said Killua.

"I'm still pretty worried about them.", Said Gon.

"Forget about them we should get going.", said Killua.

"….", I didn't say anything. Then Gon went back to look for them after staring at me for a while I sighed and followed Killua.

"Hey, I think we caught up with the main group u two.", informed Killua turning back.

"Where'd Gon go blackie?", He asked.

"Huh, are u calling me blackie? And Gon went back to find leorio and kurapika.", I replied.

"Why are u calling me blackie killua?", I asked.

"well, ur mostly in black overalls plus ur hair and eyes are black that's why.", replied killua.

"Hm, then I'll call kitty because u somewhat make me think that ur like a cat.", I teasingly said.

"huh? I do not.", He irritatedly said.

"na-ah, if u will call me blackie then I'll call u kitty either that or don't call me blackie.", I replied.

"Whatever.", He huffed and continued to run.

"Hm? Is it a yes?", I questioned running behind him.

He didn't reply. 'I'll just call him that because he didn't say I cannot.' I decided happily.

After some more running we reached the place where 2nd examination will be held and we rested near a random tree.

'what do I do for the cooking test? I don't know how to cook meat properly. Whatever.' I thought while sighing.
